Waltonwood at Royal Oak

Waltonwood Royal Oak was a blessing to my mom, myself and my family as she healed from surgery. I can’t say enough good things about the ENTIRE staff at Waltonwood…they are excellent, beyond measure.

Beautiful and active senior living in a great location with a caring and attentive staff that pays attention to all the details. Wonderful activities, and they have an in-house gourmet chef and pastry team!

My father moved into Waltonwood in March of 2021. The staff has been nothing but exceptional. The med techs and nurses are kind and caring. The director, Fatou, answers questions and concerns promptly. The concierges, Dan and Marilyn, are wonderfully warm and welcoming. The building is clean and well-maintained. I can’t imagine having my father at another facility!

We held a wonderful 80th birthday party for my step-mother at Waltonwood. We invited 40 family, friends, and neighbors to share the event. Waltonwood provided the space and the catering for the party. It was really lovely and the food was delicious. My parents have only been at Waltonwood for 6 months but they have been such a source of support and companionship to all of our family as we experience the untraveled paths and uncertainties of aging. It has really provided my parents with a source of stability, care, and monitoring that I am sure has strengthened their health and lengthened our time together.

As the CEO of an emergency services provider (STAT EMS), I had a great experience with Waltonwood Royal Oak. The staff of Waltonwood reached out to my company with an offer to donate a power wheelchair that a resident was no longer in need of. I was impressed with the unsolicited gesture and the wheelchair is now being used by a family in need. Additionally, my staff had great things to say about the organization and friendliness of the Waltonwood staff while facilitating the pick up of the wheelchair. Thank you to Waltonwood for being community minded enough to reach out with the offer and a special thanks to resident George Hartley for the generous donation!
