WESTHILL NEWNAN CROSSING

I am so grateful that my mother is receiving care at Westhill Newnan Crossing! We were the blessed recipients of their care with my father-in-law a few years ago and they were certainly our first choice when it came time for a place for my mother. The staff really cares and there is longevity there amongst some of them that speaks to their ongoing commitment to caring for others. Mom is flourishing there and we, her family, have the joy and peace of mind that comes with that happening. Thanks for all you do, Westhilll Newnan Crossing!

The staff has gone above and beyond to help me move my mother from South Carolina. They have been friendly and caring, and immediately made us all feel welcome in her new home. The facility is beautiful and well maintained, and great care is given to create menus and activities that appeal to the residents.

We can't say enough good things about Westhill at Newnan Crossing. The moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted with a smile by one of the lovely ladies (such as Emily) at the concierge desk. Every member of staff is courteous, kind, thoughtful and genuine. They get to know and love on not only the residents, but the family and friends that stop by to visit. The staff make a point to engage and get to know each resident and their visitors by name and it is like coming home every day. The residents of Westhill at Newnan Crossing are a family and the community atmosphere is so reassuring to see for someone who has entrusted a loved one to their care. The staff and residents welcome newcomers with warm greetings and share leisure time together at one of the many common areas. You can tell they like living and working at Westhill at Newnan Crossing. We have been delighted by every aspect of Westhill at Newnan Crossing. The only regret we have is that we did not move our father into Westhill at Newnan Crossing sooner.

The staff at Westhill are very kind and personable. The distressing issues we have had with our loved one seems to be brought on by the fact that there are not nearly enough staff to properly oversee 30 memory care patients and maintain their basic level of care and dignity. When we have addressed our concerns to management or staff, they are very nice and promise to get it done. However, it is difficult to get our issues resolved when they are so understaffed. We visit a lot, and although the staff works very hard, our loved one went from having a shower once a day at home to maybe one in a week. (She was not refusing) Her hair was not being washed or her bed linens changed. We have been promised this will improve. It is not fair to the Westhill staff, or to the memory patients, and their families, who trust their loved ones' basic needs will be fulfilled. Not to mention the fact families pay Westhill quite a bit of money for this care. I hope to be able to move the score in this review up to a 5 very soon!

My uncle has been living at West Hill Newnan Crossing for a few months now, and we continue to be amazed by this exceptional community. From day one, the entire staff has been nothing but friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring. You can feel the warmth the moment you walk in the door. The food is truly top-notch! Far beyond what we ever expected. The chef changes the menu weekly, offering a wonderful variety of well-prepared, restaurant quality meals that give residents so many great options. The dining hall feels like an upscale dining establishment. It is one of the things my uncle looks forward to the most. He has made some wonderful new friends to share his meals with. The complex itself is absolutely beautiful, more like a five-star resort than a senior living facility. The soaring tall ceilings, original artwork throughout the building, and the impressive waterfall feature create a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere. Not to mention the outstanding amenities - a pristine pool, excellent exercise equipment, and a relaxing spa that all add to the resort-like experience. We are so grateful for the incredible care and environment West Hill Newnan Crossing provides. It has given our family such peace of mind, and most importantly, it has given my uncle a place where he feels safe, valued, and at home. Highly recommend.
