WATERS OF PEWAUKEE (THE)

I could not lift the left door to my closet because it was very heavy and I am not as strong as I was when I was your age. A tall, strong man came to my apartment, took the door off, and laid it on the ground, He adjusted some settings and Voila! When he placed the door back up, I could open and close the door with ease.

I always enjoy visiting this beautiful community, It's a wonderful atmosphere with caring staff who are genuinely invested in the resident's and their well-being. Food and entertainment is top notch.The Memory care has been designed to not only look good but functional, right down to the sensory textured art in the walls and caring staff. I love that my loved one can age in place with hospice care right in their own home. Definitely a place I recommend touring.

The Waters of Pewaukee have changed my mom’s life for the better since the day she moved in a little over one year ago. We celebrated my mom’s 89th birthday on February 21st with family, and all her new friends from The Waters. Michelle Roth, the Active Life Manager planned a group outing (for all residents to participate in) to the Mitchell Park Domes on February 21st. As a surprise birthday gift to our mom, my family sponsored the outing which included 10 other residents. Michelle coordinated and planned everything to assure a positive experience for everyone. She has the kindest heart with excellent insight into the needs of The Waters residents. Her care and concern for all those participating in the Domes tour was evident in the meticulous manner in which she planned and executed the event. My mom was thrilled to make new friends who signed up for the tour. Even though people had differing mobility issues, Michelle made sure everyone felt included and attended to for their particular needs. She made all the difference in assuring that every resident was having a positive experience. I can’t thank Michelle enough for also helping me plan my mom’s surprise birthday party after the tour of the Domes. She made the Community Room available for us to have a private party. The room was perfect for the size of our group. To make matters even better, KJ - the Director of Culinary Services, created the perfect menu to serve my mom her favorite fish (salmon) along with chicken, rice & vegetables for our entire group. The food was outstanding. Absolutely everything turned out perfect. A special thanks to Michelle and KJ for their dedication and commitment to the residents living at The Waters of Pewaukee. My mom has never been happier or had a better social life since she has moved into this beautiful independent living residence. The Waters of Pewaukee is a place where seniors can live in peace, safety, and in the comfort of companionship while enjoying compassionate care. The whole staff excels in providing top notch services that addresses the individual needs of their loved residents. I highly recommend this senior living facility for anyone looking for a new home to help their beloved family members or close friends get the outstanding care they need and deserve in the right retirement community.

We moved our parents into independent living at The Waters 8 months ago. They were less than excited about leaving their home of 32 years. It has taken them a while to adjust but the staff at The Waters are amazing and they totally made the difference. It’s obvious they love what they do. Super friendly and personable. They truly make time to get to know each resident and their families to find ways to enhance the senior living experience. Adding new and more activities all the time. The housekeepers are pleasant and they do a great job. The entire community areas are very clean and cheery. The variety of food and quality of the food is very good. My parents are proud to say they are residents of The Waters and we couldn’t be happier that they are settling in nicely. The excellent staff made this transition so much easier on me and my 5 siblings. Thank you for caring and for your extra efforts to make life brighter each day for our parents in their new home.

My mom has lived at The Waters of Pewaukee for almost 8 months. As with most, the transition from your home to something new can be challenging. My mom left a home of 51 years in Michigan to be closer to me here in Wisconsin. The Waters has welcomed her home since the day she moved in. She loves the bright atmosphere, the staff who treat her like family, and most of all the other residents. The friendships she has made in this short time are such a blessing. They all share this stage of life together. The Waters staff keeps their residents health, safety, and well being the focus. My mom enjoys many of the planned activities including crafts, games and outings. She enjoys meals with her friends in the cafe and the dining room. The staff strive to put a new spin on meals creating delicious dishes. I am so grateful that my mom is in such a wonderful community.
