The staff are great. Good people that really care about the residents they are serving. I can tell the new team is trying hard to make some solid improvements. The food is tasty, the activities are improving too. Love it there.

I was able to spend a week up there with the new owners and managers and they are very impressive with how hands on they are and the positive changes they are working on! Great days ahead for this community!!

Twin Rivers is clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and compassionate. There is an assisted side and a memory care side at this senior living center and residents have comfy rooms, activities and delicious meals.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My grandma lives in the dementia ward, staff have neglected her to the point that her body is covered in bruises from falls. Her eyes were so dry they were melded shut, and my mom went there to help make sure she was able to open her eyes with ointment. They will just hand her pills and walk away!! IN A DEMENTIA WARD. We would find her pills in her shoes on the floor in the trash, everywhere. They just wheel them out to watch tv and then sit on their phones. My grandma is supposed to be getting medication every 1-2 hours and my mom was there with her for over 3 hours and not one person came to give her medicine. She had a nose bleed and some blood got on her pillow, we came back two days later and the blood was still there, no one thought to change the pillowcase in two days??? So far the only time we have seen them do any sort of work, is when we complain to the higher-ups. We made the choice to put her on hospice and more than one of the staff, made comments to my mom that were very judgmental and hurtful. We have brought her home on several occasions to spend time with her, and she is barely able to feed herself yet they say “ oh she does fine here”. I wish it was safe for her to live at home with us, but my family has a big dog and we have full time jobs so we would not be able provide the care she needs, which is barely less than what she is getting at Wedgewood. It is not easy for me to leave such a scathing review on a place but something needs to change, I hope someone there see’s this and decides to change for the better. If it’s happening to one person I’m sure it happens to others too. Just because they can’t remember things doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.
