Disappointed, was looking for a location for my mother in the Papillion area and called for more information about WEL-Life at Papillion and the gal who we talked to was so rude this past Saturday, November 15th. Glad to know before how the staff is at this location than after the fact. Follow up: Thanks for responding below and at the time we were gathering info for more info but the staff on the weekend answering the phone at this location was rude. I did get your calls, but did not return those due to this experience we had.

Wel-Life Assisted Living in Papillion has been amazing for my mom. Paula, the Executive Director, is awesome and really seems to care about everyone there and is present and available. The staff has been nothing but kind and supportive to my mom. They treat my mom like their friend & family, and it shows on how comfortable my mom has been since she moved in. The community is always super clean and feels really comfortable every time I visit. From the entry to the guest bathroom to the dining room to her apartment; everything is so clean and never have I noticed any smells. What I love most is how the staff actually connects with my mom and the other residents. They chat, laugh, spend time with them and you can tell that it’s not just a job to them. They have tons of outings and activities. My mom doesn't always attend or go, but she knows about them because of the other residents talking about it and encouraging her to go along! Megan, the Director of Nursing has been great and communicative. My mom is being followed by an amazing APRN Sara, who follows my mom as for her medical needs. She has been absolutely amazing as well. I have no worries about her clinical needs, which are a bit more complex than some of their residents, while the duties are in their hands. This is a huge relief for me and my family. I’m so grateful we chose Wel-Life and so is my mom. It’s such a relief knowing my mom is in a place where she’s happy and safe. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a small and a little more affordable option for Assisted Living.

My mother has been a resident of Wel-Life for about 18 months. When she first moved in, we were afraid we were about to lose her. But the staff went the extra mile to encourage and assist her in improving her physical and mental health. Can’t say enough good things about Paula (Director) and the superior staff who work diligently to make WEL-Life a home for everyone. The facility is sunny and bright and absolutely immaculate. It has a great set up for residents to be able to exercise, even in the winter months. Everything is on one level, making it safe and accessible to all. There is a bright and welcoming common area, beautiful dining room for the residents to eat and gather together, and a small private dining room for families who would like to join their loved one for a meal. Additionally, there is a workout area, library and two enclosed courtyards. The diverse staff are such caring individuals and really take time to get to know each resident. They pay attention to the details and are never too busy to ask how your day is going. Sometimes they are just there to listen and it makes a difference! WEL-Llife does a superior job of offering diverse programs for both mental and physical health. A few examples are shopping trips to area stores, exercise groups, bingo (of course!), spiritual meeting and discussion groups, a large variety of musical programs, lunch outings to local restaurants, programs to get out in nature, and celebrations & fun activities surrounding holidays. Amanda (Activities Director) has so many fresh ideas for keeping residents engaged with each other and their community. My mother adores the lovely enclosed courtyards (which provide safety and security) and outdoor areas with plenty of seating to accommodate family visits or outdoor meals. The grounds are meticulously cared for. There is plenty of parking for visitors and residents . We have had nothing but great experiences with the Wel-Life staff, facilities, and healthcare monitoring. We looked at several facilities in the Omaha area and Wel-Life had the homiest feel to it. It has been such a great home for my mom to age in place. And the icing on the cake? It was the most affordable facility in the Papillion area. Definitely worth checking out and taking a tour. Our family loves WEL-Life!

We are very happy with Wel-Life of Papillion. They take very good care of our mom. Facility is very clean. The activity director is amazing with ideas for the residents to participate in. The staff is so caring and that is so important to us. The management staff are always accommodating and helpful. The pricing is affordable so that we can have a place for our mom to be safe and able to afford to live there. Thank you Wel-Life!

I have recently became POA for my brother in law and he is a resident at WEL-Life. Everyone there has been phenomenal. He enjoys going to the variety of musical guest performances they have each week. They have planned activities such as crafts, fishing outings in the summer, exercise weekly, shopping outings and lunch bunch outings to different restaurants. The staff are very friendly and caring. Paula is an advocate for her residents and treats them with dignity and respect. The facility is always clean with a private dining room if families want to have a family group dinner or get together. Highly recommend this facility.
