I would definitely give this place 1 star and less if I could, the management (Director is DeeDee) is very unprofessional, along with other staff members. The residents are name called, laughed at and handled aggressively as well as not changed frequently. The kitchen is full of ants and roaches, and the food is 90% frozen or canned. There is a lack of care for the quality of life of the residents and a lack of care for the staff members. I would recommend taking your loved one somewhere else. The Building is so called on budget how when you have residents paying to leave there they lock supplies up in another room we are un able to use it new managment needed this is why the building in going in the hole . . I am sure there are a few direct care workers who do have empathy and care for the residents and I am sorry you can not be recognize for your good work. Unfortunately I do not think this can be said about any of your management. WHERE ARE THE OWNERS SEEK NEW MANAGEMENT STAFF THIS BUILDING CAN DO BETTER ALL THEY DO IS EAT AND GOSSIP IN THE OFFICE DEEDEE ,THE GAY MAINTAINCE MAN AND CRYSTAL

Wellington Oaks is a wonderful space for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s. The daily activities create an engaging environment where residents can continue to feel involved in the community while navigating life changes. The director is approachable, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a caring and supportive memory care unit for their loved one.

Everyone here is professional and polite. They deal with a lot and I appreciate their patience with my mother. She is well taken care of here. The staff and nurses go above and beyond for my mother and I am greatly appreciative of them for that.

If I could give a zero or have this place closed immediately I would. This facility demonstrated a pattern of negligence and unprofessional conduct that endangered my grandfather’s health and safety. The environment was unsanitary, with persistent odors indicating a failure to maintain basic hygiene standards. Staff interactions were frequently rude and unprofessional, raising serious concerns about the quality of care. While under this facility’s supervision, my grandfather suffered multiple serious falls and injuries, which suggests a lack of adequate monitoring and fall-prevention measures. In addition, his personal belongings were mishandled, and other residents were observed wearing his clothing as they were often drenched in someone else’s urine. This constitutes a clear violation of resident rights, personal property protections, and basic standards of dignity. These conditions reflect noncompliance with state and federal nursing home care regulations, including resident safety, sanitation, and respect for personal property. Families place their trust in such facilities with the expectation of proper care, supervision, and respect. This facility failed to meet those obligations, resulting in direct harm to my grandfather. I strongly urge regulatory authorities to investigate these issues, and I would advise families to carefully reconsider before placing a loved one here.
