WELLMORE OF DANIEL ISLAND

If anyone reading these reviews is researching memory care facilities in the Charleston, South Carolina area, I strongly suggest you visit Wellmore of Daniel Island. My mother has been a memory care resident at Wellmore of Daniel Island for close to 3 years and I can't say enough good things about my mother's experience there. My mother is extremely well cared for there and continues to lead a very meaningful and very happy life there. Wellmore of Daniel Island has an upbeat, happy vibe to it and the people who work there are really top notch. Special thanks to Deidra Curry who runs the memory care section of Wellmore of Daniel Island. Deidra does a fantastic job and is always there to help my mother and my family. Thank you Deidra! And special thanks also to a young lady named Armani who works in the memory care section of Wellmore of Daniel Island. Armani always has a big smile on her face and she takes great care of my mother. My mother loves Armani. Thank you Armani!

It’s so hard to know where to put your loved one when THAT time comes … and believe me when I tell you that I looked high and low , under every rock , every rabbit trail before I found Wellmore of DI. My mom has been in the memory care unit there for 2 years . Memory Care is a special place that requires an incredible staff - one with patience , compassion and a huge heart on top of the skills required to keep the residents safe , happy, and healthy. While Wellmore has always been the right choice for me , I have to say the current staffing is a notch above. They interact with the residents , they laugh with them , and treat them with the utmost care and respect. I believe this comes from the top down & with careful training- Diedre Curry is committed to making this environment the best it can be. She is ALWAYS available , knows the residents and their abilities intimately , is compassionate with both residents and family, in fact , I’d say Deidre is part of our family. Her positive outlook , comforting smile and her leadership are second to none. She has developed a staff that is active and caring . They allow me to be able to be a daughter , a wife, a mother and have my career. A heartfelt thank you for caring about my family. Keep up the great work !!

My Father-in-law is absolutely thriving at Wellmore Senior Living. He loves the staff and they all know him. He has a sense of belonging. They do a great job with physical therapy, activities, maintaining his residence. They have worked with us to make it affordable. It easy to reach the staff when we need to communicate something important. My husband and I are so grateful for the peace of mind that he is content and safe.

Two of my family members have moved into Wellmore, and it has been a great experience! The staff have been incredibly kind, considerate and helpful. The food in their dining room is amazing, and we love the ice cream parlor! The activities are very engaging for the residents, and everyone always has a smile on their face. I would recommend Wellmore to anyone thinking about moving their loved one into a senior living community.

We are so thankful for the wonderful community and staff at Wellmore of Daniel Island. After an extended illness, my father is now thriving and enjoying his new normal. Not only does Wellmore DI offer a beautiful residential setting, but the staff are so amazing, kind and supportive. While we never expected to end up at assisted living, it has truly been a lifesaver and provided such an improved quality of life, not only for my father, but also for all of our family members who know he is in good hands when we can't get there to visit. The convenience of the services offered on-site, restaurant-style dining, group exercise classes and variety of activities truly provide the ultimate quality of life with as much or little assistance as you need or want. The residents are also all so kind, accomplished and have become an extension of our family over the last 6 months. Thank you Wellmore!
