the Skid Row Care Campus. honestly, one of the best places in Downtown Los Angeles and I’m not just talking about only people experiencing homelessness, but for anyone. If you want to volunteer, be useful, share your resources, your art, your skills, or simply exchange advice and knowledge, this is the place to go. This place is a mix between a community center, a support network, a creative space, and a true HUB platform for mutual aid. You meet people from all walks of life housed and unhoused, artists, volunteers, professionals, people rebuilding their lives, people just passing through and somehow, it all works. There’s respect, structure, and above all, real human dignity. The staff and volunteers, for the most part, don’t judge and don’t talk down to people. They listen, guide, and genuinely help without caring about appearances or social status. I especially want to thank and mention Tiffany, Star, Sky, Brandon, and DJ Rabbit for their kindness, presence, and deeply human attitude. That said, I want to add a small note : some of the men working there can sometimes come across as a bit rough or speak in an aggressive tone. I understand that this work is extremely demanding and emotionally heavy, and I don’t blame them. It’s just a gentle reminder that not everyone here is “crazy,” and many people already carry a lot of pain and exhaustion when they arrive. Still, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible work being done every single day, the showers, the restrooms, the laundry service, and the overall organization all of it is essential, concrete, and truly makes a difference. In a city where help can sometimes feel selective or superficial, the Skid Row Care Campus feels authentic. It’s about presence, exchange, and real community not appearances. If you’re looking for a place to give, receive, learn, or simply exist without being judged, this is it. Thank you to all the staff for your useful, necessary, and deeply human work.

This place has excellent resources for the homeless they even have a health facility outdoor recreation and courtyard they feed you make sure your watered you can shower there clean up and even use the restroom All provided by them food too it's one of the better places I ran across in the streets for the homeless

The best effort in relieving the disparatity of the poorest and richest communities in Los Angeles yet. Free wifi, coffee, snacks, showers and laundry no questions asked. Also an entry point for recovery from addiction and the 1st step in getting stable housing and medical care. Monitored daily activities like art music and poetry, plus weekly visits by specialists in legal help, employment and establishing a California I.D., birth certificate and social security card for obtaining higher levels of welfare and support. This is one of 4 locations sponsored by the HHCLA non-profit being the largest, it may be a little demanding on the senses, other smaller locations have some of the same services but in a more controlled environment.

It's a fun atmosphere to be in once you become a regular and familiar with the community. Wifi, Snacks available, Refresh Section Clean, & Laundry on site. Employees are Great some just want a easy check so they act and talk a lil reckless but if you communicate with respect you'll be smoov. Everybody is honestly just tryna have a good time n live there best life. I have very lil to no complaints.
