While we weren’t visiting Westminster Shores as residents or guests, we ended up there in quite an unexpected way—after getting stranded in a storm on the water! We were cold, soaked, and stressed, but the staff welcomed us with unbelievable kindness and care. They offered us dry towels, a warm place to rest, access to clean restrooms, and even helped us coordinate transportation back to our side of town while we waited for Sea Tow. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful, but what truly stood out was the hospitality and heart of the people there. Thank you, Westminster Shores, for turning a stressful day into a blessing! We truly washed up on the right shore!!

Went on a 2 hour sailing adventure with Captain Scott, one of our Lifestyles leads. Westminster Shores frequently sets up great day trips for us to participate in and this was an exceptional day on the water. We got to see the area from off shore as well as dolphins. Scott did a great job navigating while telling us all about the area we live in. Educational and fun at the same time. What a great place to live.

I’ve lived here over three years and am very pleased we moved here. We are well cared for in independent living with many activities and learning opportunities. Maintenance responds quickly to any requests- including changing light bulbs! Hurricane cleanup is swift. The beauty is unequalled - walking on the seawall, observing bird island, or just watching ships on the bay! Food options are good but everyone desires his or her favorites cooked just for them. Improvement is clear. The very best part of living here is the people! It’s a family in so many ways. People help each other and share in joy or challenges.

My husband and I have lived at Westminster Shores for 18 months. We fell it has been such a blessing to us—our neighbors are wonderful, and we fell supported and pampered here. The beautiful waterfront view off our balcony makes reading the paper out there in my rocker a joy!

We moved to the Shores at the end of 2022 when the Sunrise Point building opened. We are very happy that we did. We have a fabulous view from our balcony, and our unit is the best place we have ever lived. The Shores offers many great amenities, including up-scale dining options, physical therapy on campus, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a lap pool, and much more. The community is very welcoming, and we have made may new friends here.
