WESTMONT OF ESCONDIDO

I have never been as happy as I am here, I believe this is how geriatrics should spend their remaining years, we are enjoying life, laughing a lot and eating delicious food. Come visit, you’ll love it.

Westmont of Escondido is a fabulous community!! My parents have recently moved to Westmont of Escondido from another facility near by and what a huge difference! The staff run by Austin Irwin is amazing. The level of care is A+++++ from the med techs, cleaning staff, maintenance staff, front desk and all the departments are top notch! The food is fabulous! The rooms are large very clean and well maintained! They check on the residents throughout the day making sure every need is met. I cannot say enough about this facility! The social activities are numerous. The best decision our family has made was to move them to Westmont Living! If you're looking for a loving, caring facility for your family, you too should make to the move to Westmont. I can't say enough about Austin and his tremendous staff! Thank you Westmont of Escondido!!!

I am a Gen-X and definitely sandwich (my daughter is graduating college next month, you can imagine I have a lot on my plate). My husband and I moved my mom from the east coast last fall and we decided Assisted Living was the best option. Long story but we found Westmont at exactly the right time. We met with Meghan and Austin and we were immediately impressed with the hands-on approach and they're professionalism. We moved my mom into Westmont this past Wednesday. Everyone we have encountered from the maintenance crew (Marlon and Ishmael) to the Med-Techs were incredibly kind and generous to help. Unfortunately my mom wasn't feeling well (and vomiting) Wednesday and Thursday which turned into Friday. I received a call from Sequora on Friday afternoon at about 4:45pm suggesting we have her seen as not to dehydrate. I agreed. Sequora was amazing and reassured me, that they would send my mom in a private ambulance and send her ID, insurance and her med list. AUSTIN and his team are caring, compassionate and I really feel like they are partnering with me in my mom's care. I cannot say enough about this amazing experience.

Our father has been at this facility for a while now, and our family was having trouble locating a bed for his room. Without a truck, logistics were proving difficult. So, I decided to reach out to Malou to see if there were potentially any available onsite beds in a desperate text for help. She said she would look into it. Realistically, I didn't expect much to come from this interaction, but she went beyond her typical call of duty to hunt one down for us. To my surprise, I received confirmation of an onsite bed. She promptly contacted us and set a pickup date. Although the bed was confirmed, we still needed to disassemble the bed and move it to its new location. I was planning on doing this by myself, but then I met Teresa, who insisted on helping me get the bed to my dad's room. I persisted that I could handle it myself, but she unselfishly insisted on helping. She brought tools and disassembled the frame for the move. In a time when people mostly care for themselves, it was super refreshing to see both Malou and Teresa go above and beyond to accommodate. If I could give a six-star review, I absolutely would. The staff here is beyond amazing.

My mom and I searched for the perfect place for her after the move from Portland, Oregon to San Diego. We finally decided on Westmont for the people and staff that made us feel welcome! Malou was our contact person in the beginning and has always been very helpful and caring, with a passion we didn’t know existed. If you have something you need help with she is there to listen. Sarah in the cafeteria is always helpful with a smile for my mom. All of the front desk help is excellent and always wanting to help! Oh and Jennifer In housekeeping is awesome and Miriam in Accounting as well! If you are looking for a place for mom or dad that you can trust to take good care of your loved one, Westmont Town Court is the place !
