Took a chance by stopping by for an elderly friend of mine the executive director stopped what she was doing and gave me a very informative tour. Was very pleased with what I saw. Their were activities going on and it was very clean.

I was very impressed with the friendly staff that greeted me at the door. The community was very clean. Resident were playing bingo and seemed to be having a great time. I would absolutely bring my parents here.

I volunteer here with my therapy dogs and the residents seem very happy. Jill the activity director makes sure to pack the calendar with so many wonderful activities. Everyone that I have met is very kind and dedicated to their jobs. We enjoy visiting a happy and clean place.

While our mother was not able to get admitted to White Lake Assisted Living before she quickly passed away, I am writing this review to give praises to Carole Webster at WLAL. She was easy to talk to during a very stressful time for our family. She did everything she could to get our mom in as a resident, but the facility's wait list kept mom from being admitted. Carole kept in contact with me and offered suggestions. She was absolutely wonderful! Our advice to families with aging parents.....DON'T WAIT! Have a plan in place and get on a wait list. It's not an easy decision to make but you'll thank yourselves later for being proactive now when you need a placement for one of your parents and you can get in quickly because you paved the way. Most facilities will refund the deposit if your parent does not enter as a resident.

This is a review of our tour experience; we are not as yet residents/ family of residents. That said, our tour experience moved White Lake Assisted Living to the top of our list. Carol was exceedingly personable and generous with her time and touring and information. At no time did we feel pushed or as if we were “being sold to.” The employees smiled easily and looked busy yet relaxed in their manner. Rooms were nicely maintained and environment was clean, warm and pleasant. We especially appreciated the large activities room, which was obviously well and thoughtfully used, decorated for the season, and clearly much more than a few tables and chairs for bingo - a real community space for fun and interaction. As we toured as family members without our “senior” potential resident, we were warmly invited back for a second visit with mom during midday so she could “get a feel for the people and the place” and see if it felt like a fit. Hoping she likes it as much as we did!
