It has taken me a long time write this review because my mother died about a month after moving into WG Sr Living. We moved her there because she had several falls and was recovering from a wrist fracture. She was still quite mobile at 98 yrs and eager to "ditch the arm cast." At first everything was great, mainly because I was so grateful that there was someone there all the time. The trouble began with one caregiver who kept scolding my cognitively-impaired mother about her various OCD habits. I even wrote a large sign in her room say not to scold her as it really made her reluctant to ask for help. In retrospect, it was a form of bullying of a very vulnerable and indefensible person. The end result was that she fell in the bathroom one morning, hit her head making a huge wound and broke her shoulder. This was a complete nightmare. While the head wound can be stitched, there is no treatment for a shoulder fracture. Doctors won't prescribe strong pain meds for the elderly. So she died of septic shock in great pain. This one caregiver made my mother's last days a misery. I do not understand how the management continues to employ someone so clearly unsuited to work with the impaired elderly.
