I went several times to sit with someone 1 on 1 & was blown away that people really live there. The facility its self is ran down & out dated. They never had soap or paper towels in my residents bathroom for her or me to wash our hands with. I saw feces on on the floor that was there for over a week. They were very tight on gloves. I myself didnt see this, but it was several complaints of mice or rats being sighted. I did see the mice sticky pads in the hallway. The pictures provided for you to view are in no way shape or form what the facility looks like. I had to stop sitting with the sweet lady 1 on 1 because I just didnt feel comfortable with the filth everything else that came along with this facility. It breaks my heart that our elderly people have to live under these conditions. I will say that the staff was always nice to me. But this place honestly made me feel like I was in a correctional facility...It desperately needs ALOT of help. And I rated this a 1 because I had to, and that can go to the staff for being nice!

My Daddy has been here since June and I can't express on this post my full appreciation for the care the wonderful staff has provided him. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do but I am so glad now that I did. He feels right at home and so do I. I visit him everyday whenever I want. My father has more freedom at this facility than he did at home, he is never lonely and enjoys well prepared meals and snacks! The staff, from the top down, is awesome and I am thankful for all of them.

Had an opportunity to visit this community recently for a friend the staff seemed very caring with great location and the price could not be beat. Healthcare prices can be so difficult on a family especially where there's dementia involved. I think this location is a great option.

My mother has dementia and when my dad fell and fractured his leg and couldn't care for her during his recovery, she stayed at the Windsor. While not perfect -- and one can't really imagine how a Memory Care Center could be perfect -- the Windsor did a really great job of taking care of my mom. They have created a comfortable, homelike environment that provides the most freedom and flexibility possible so that folks with dementia can have as much self-determination and agency as is possible (the facility is locked which is great for those inclined to wander). There's a real sense of community and the vast majority of the staff are very committed, caring, and competence caregivers. They treat each resident as an individual and really get to know them. They know how to work most effectively with people in the various stages of dementia and do so in a positive, upbeat, comforting manner. We also found the administration to be responsive and communicative. All in all, our experience suggests that the Windsor is one of the most positive and safe and supportive environments for someone with dementia that we have come across.
