Multiple levels of care, very nice facility

I'm glad my parents found such a great place to live. The campus has everything from a dining room to workout area, wellness center and mom can get her hair done anytime she wants.

My parents moved in to Wintergreen in their early 70s. They are having the time of their lives! They have no home owner responsibilities any more so now every day is like a weekend to them! We eat with them on occasion in the dining room (so many meals per month are included). It's as nice as a good restaurant. Their financial planner says Wintergreen is the biggest bargain in the state of WI! At first it seems pricey, but it is a LOT less expensive than other facilities. Also, one needs to consider the fact that the price includes heat, electric, sewer/water, garbage, Wifi, AND the meals in the dining room! No more property taxes either! Heated underground parking is a bonus, grocery shuttles are another bonus. My parents LOVE their neighbors. I am so happy they made this move before they "needed to". They got to choose where they went, they got to divvy up the accumulated stuff they had, they got the choice in how to simplify so they could truly enjoy life while they were still young and able enough to be active. Lots of activities, a fitness center, nature trails, small interest groups, gardening, parties and events, games, etc. The ability to socialize is a hugely important part of aging well. Wintergreen offers the ability to socialize as much or as little within the complex, and if one chooses to never leave the building, that is okay!

Excellent apartments for 55 and older seniors. Very caring environment for your loved one.
