Woodlands at Tannehill

This is one of the best Assisted Living facility we toured. And since moving in my elderly Mother-in-Law has had improvements in her overall health as well as having gained some much-needed weight. The facility serves her well balanced meals and she eats so well that she has almost completely eliminated snacking (on her own) because she is never left hungry. She reconnected with someone from her high school days and has made several new friends and now she socializes with more people than she was socializing with when she was living independently. The facility has a very home-like feel and has never had the institutional smell that I perceived in tours of other facilities. We are very pleased. **09/2021** Sadly, this facility has closed it's doors. We have moved my MIL to The Oaks on Parkwood - owned by the same parent company, and as good as this facility. The only downside is there are limited larger rooms (none were available when we had to move my MIL), and the rates are higher.
