Woodridge Assisted Living Facility

We placed our father at Woodridge, and it was the worst experience ever. During his 6 days there, he ended up in the emergency room twice from falls due to the overmedication they gave him. My cousin visited our dad, and called crying and said, "What have they done to him. That is not my uncle." Our dad spent six weeks in the hospital after his short time at Woodridge. Ever since then, he has been at Brookdale where he is loved and cared for at a level we could only hope for. When my sister went to get our father's things at Woodridge, she was treated with unbelievable disrespect. I would never recommend anyone place their family member at Woodridge in the memory care unit. I regret every second our father was there.
