WYNGATE SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY

My uncle was transferred to Wyngate and was gravely ill. He received compassionate, heart-felt care. I can’t thank the staff enough for the wonderful care he received. Updated 10/5/25: After my uncle passed away my mom moved into a cottage & she LOVED it. When she needed to move into assisted living, she was able to get a one-bedroom apartment. The care aids, nurses, and housekeeping staff were all wonderful. When she needed hospice in January, I trusted their recommendation for a service, and between Wyngate and hospice, she passed in peace. I am eternally grateful to the Wyngate and the care my mom and uncle received.

I cannot begin to explain the peace that this team at Wyngate gave me when I entered my parents into respite care for a couple of weeks. My dad has had two strokes and is limited with his ability to help my mom who has had some falls and some medical limitations. Wyngate made us feel at home and able to rest for the first time in a long time. Being four hours away I had constant communication with Myra, Kendra, and Sabrina: I could t have felt more connected to what was happening with my parents each day. These ladies. I can’t even tell you how amazing they are and how they work together to provide seamless, safe and life changing care to the people who need it the most. My family had to make a decision to place my mother in an assisted living facility with 3 days notice. We looked at several places in Lima and decided upon Wyngate because of the kindness and caring of all of the staff. After moving my mom in we are so grateful for the kindness of the current community members for going out of their way to make my mom feel included in the community.
