Awesome place to be. If you need a nursing home I would recommend this one. I know my husband is being well taken care of.

My husband was admitted to Medilodge of Wyoming for rehab after a 21 day hospitalization. The staff is friendly, caring, professional and the PT/OT department is exceptional. The facility is clean with open areas to walk around and additional rooms to sit in with family/friends. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs rehab.

My mom lived here for several months, and during that time she rarely got showers, staff didn't regularly help her brush her teeth, and she reported to family many times that some of the staff seemed angry and unfriendly. She worried that they were mad at her. My mom would often ask me and her sister when she could get a shower and I talked to staff and administration frequently about this issue, but they'd say that she was refusing showers and help with her teeth. This didn't seem true, because she was asking my aunt and I when she could get a shower. We moved her to a new facility in hopes she could get better care, and I'm so glad we did. She is getting regular showers on her shower days and doesn't refuse them and tells me how much cleaner she feels now. She's getting help with brushing her teeth every morning and every night, and the staff are so warm and friendly. Her call button is being answered much more quickly there than at Medilodge of Wyoming, where it could take an hour for her to get help using the bathroom. When I and my aunts tried to talk to Medilodge administration about my mom's care, we were met with pushback and denial, and they made it clear they did not welcome our concerns. My mom's new care facility has been the complete opposite; they are welcoming and seek input and communicate freely with me and my aunt. The meals my mom gets now have more variety and are more enjoyable as well. She has never once said she thinks the staff here seem angry and has never expressed concern that they are mad at her. It has been such a relief now that my mom is away from Medilodge and getting the care she deserves at her new place. She seems more content and loves the staff.

I had to send my 82 year old mother to Medilodge in Wyoming for short term care due to a serious fall injury. She needs 24/7 care along with physical therapy to get back on her feet. I'm very disappointed in the lack of care at this facility. My mother has been left unattended on a daily basis while using the bathroom and dressing herself. My mother is scheduled to receive two showers per week. Wednesday's and Saturday's. She rarely receives a weekly shower. I had to request to have her showered the last two time that I was there due to bad hygiene, strong order of urine, and dirty clothes. I found my mother several times laying in bed at night time with wet clothes, blankets, and soaked bedding due to the caregivers NOT putting depends/ briefs on her bottom. Unacceptable! I've reached out plenty of times by phone, voice mail messages, and I left a hand written note by her bedside stating all of my concerns along with.my phone number. It's been almost 2 weeks and I still haven't received a call back from the facility. Enough is enough I'm planning on taking time off of work tomorrow morning to go to Medilodge in person to figure out what's going on considering that no one seems to call you back. It's a sad day when our elderly loved ones are neglected by the Health Care System. Ps, I will be reaching out to the state of Michigan and to the president of the united states of america with my concerns regarding this situation. Thank you!

We sent my mother there after she had fallen and broken her hip. The Care there was absolutely awful. She ended up doing most things on her own after the first day because she couldn’t get anyone to help her. Her room was dirty and the staff was rude and unprofessional. The PT department, I will say, did not fall into that same category. They were actually very nice and did a decent job. That aside, I would never recommend sending anyone to this facility! It was an awful experience right from the beginning. Even the management team was unprofessional and unhelpful.
