YERBA BUENA RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME

I am so happy that we found Helen and Joel. My mom lived in their Serenity Board and Care home for the last four years of her life and received excellent care. Helen, Joel, and the staff showed immense patience and kindness to my mom. They always treated her with respect and dignity. They were warm and loving and maintained a sense of humor throughout, which my mom really appreciated. The home had a family feeling where birthdays and holidays were celebrated as a group with a wonderful meal. I especially appreciated Helen’s knowledge and experience. She understood the changes my mom was going through, which helped me to advocate for my mom with her doctor so that she received appropriate care and treatment. My mom said growing old wasn’t for sissies, and she was right. It was a challenging and difficult time in my mom’s life, but Helen and Joel made it much easier to bear for my mom and our family. I am forever grateful.

I can never fully express the gratitude and love I feel for Joel and Helen Trinidad and their wonderful staff of caregivers. My Aunt was in their care for the last two years of her life. While at Serenity she received gentle, constant and loving care, always given with humor and positivity. Birthdays and Holidays are beautiful at Serenity. The decorations and table settings are festive and these are real family events. Many Thanks to Serenity Board and Care! I never worried about her. This is a blessing that cannot be full_ realized unless you have a loved one needing full care, around the clock.
