This is the best place in town for assisted living. My mother lived her last 3 years of life in the caring, kind environment of this facility. The attention to detail and the latest news on senior care are of utmost importance to the incredible owner, Roann. I checked out other places when it was time to move my mom out of independent living with her increasing dementia. Nothing compared. The staff is marvelous, the rooms are so sweet, and the ability for the residents to live in a real home and not an institution is invaluable.

I was so worried about placing my mom in a home. I’ve been her caregiver for over 5 years, and covid really took a lot out of us both. I wish I had found A Love for Life two years ago! She is doing so wonderful there - she has people to talk to, activities, and qualified caregivers who treat her with love and respect. It is a wonderful place, and Roann goes above and beyond in providing the best possible care for her residents. I feel so much gratitude for finding this place.

A Love for Life is special. The Alcazar facility is small but very intimate, and the staff is amazing in both their capability and the way they treat everyone with dignity. The food was excellently prepared from scratch, and the place felt like a home. A Love for Life caters to residents that need a little more individual care and succeeds at that fabulously. I would highly recommend it for anyone that wants a home-like atmosphere for their loved one.

Roann understands and knows about elder care. She cares so much that she put together a brochure about what to look for and questions to ask when looking for a place for your aged love ones. She respects her staff and takes care of their needs and yearly training, as well. Ultimately, they want to stay and work for her-some have been with her as long as she's had the two residential homes. A residential home is personal-it's like a home away from home. With care around the clock from loving and attentive staff, with activities to participate in, and good wholesome food, what a blessing it was to have my mom living at A Love for Life! Susan

Making the decision that your loved one needs to find a new place to live for their safety and well-being can be a daunting and scary task. There are many decisions that need to be made, and all you want is to find a place that will love and care for your family as you would do. A Love for Life is exactly the place were you can feel confident to call home for your loved one. The care is exceptional and the love that is given to all the residents here is quite remarkable. The owner of the facility has made sure to build a home away from home, insuring the utmost dignity and respect for each resident. The place is meticulously clean and beautifully designed. The care givers here are a team of exceptional people who have the highest integrity and compassion for all residents. You truly feel as though you are family from the moment you walk in the door. As someone who has family here, I cannot sing higher praises for this place.
