Aberdeen has been a blessing for our family over the last several years. The staff at Aberdeen truly does care about their residents and their families. They have worked with us in making sure our loved ones needs are met on a daily basis. We would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a memory care unit for their loved one.

I cannot recommend Aberdeen Memory Care strongly enough. My family and I are extremely grateful to each member of the Aberdeen Memory Care staff, especially Michelle Pankey (resident care coordinator), Michelle Netters (director resident services), Tara Brown (business manager), Jalissa, Cynthia, DeShannon Netters (lifestyles director), Saundra, Kathryn, Kizzy, Shantel, Aloha, Brian, Linda, Donovan, Shirley, Patrice, and Trischa Kwiatkowski (executive director). Each staff member Aberdeen staff was loving and kind not only to our father, but also to the family members and friends who visited our dad. We have many memories of his interactions with compassionate Aberdeen staff. He loved each staff member, as well as the dance parties, activities, snacks, and meals. I know that the pandemic has added stress on the staff, but they only worked harder and did more to show their care and concern for our dad and the other residents. When our dad passed Aberdeen staff did everything they could to comfort our family. Michelle Netters' compassionate heart was such a blessing to our family. DeShannon Netters even took the time to make us a slideshow. Everything about Aberdeen is exceptional. My family and I will always be grateful for the care and the love that the Aberdeen provided our dad.

My mother in law has been at Aberdeen Memory Care for four months. She was adamant about not moving there. It was with pleasure we discovered how happy she is at Aberdeen and how she constantly praises the staff as kind, considerate and most attentive to her needs. It has been my observation that they go beyond expectations providing care and a safe, nurturing environment. One staff member even polished her fingernails for her last week. It’s gut wrenching for a family to make this decision. We are grateful for the guidance the Aberdeen director, nurse and staff offered to ease us into this transition as well.

Aberdeen Memory Care is a lovely facility with kind, caring professionals who understand the special needs of dementia patients. We are very pleased with the care they are providing our loved one and the time they have taken to help her feel comfortable. We chose a private room with a view of the courtyard rose garden, but the shared rooms are also nice.

If I could, I would give Aberdeen Memory Care zero stars. Beware of Aberdeen Memory Care and do not send the ones you love here. I must echo L. Sanford's review from a year ago. Overall management and staff does not care for the well being of your loved ones. Everything that happens here is treated like a transaction, even at your loved ones' most venerable times. The staff turnover rate is also a sign of their inabilities to run a successful care and wellness business. Staff does not communicate to you about your loved ones. Aberdeen's approach is not to inform you of things needed or issues that may arise. The preference at Aberdeen is to have your loved ones sedated and quiet. Our mother was cognitive and verbal. Like any other human being, she was experiencing sadness and frustration with her new situation of being taken care of. Aberdeen's solution to this was to have her medicated and sedated and mandated additional drugs be prescribed to her. When cleared by three doctors and then cleared from a pysc evaluation with no additional drugs being issues this was deemed not satisfactory to Aberdeen. Shortly after returning to Aberdeen, our mother was dumped at the hospital in the middle of the night with Aberdeen's claim that she was not their responsibility anymore. Aberdeen stance is that because they are a private institution they are able to do whatever it is they see fit. Please let me help you by telling you my story and preventing anything like this happening to your loved one.
