Deborah and the staff at Addington Place went above and beyond to make my mother feel welcome. Deborah checked what Mom's favorite snack was and had it placed in her room, a message in the lobby on a chalk board welcomed Mom by name on her first day, and we were given a lunch outside the usual serving time. Because of time constraints with the discharge notice and me traveling from out-of-state, Addington Place lent Mom a furnished room for a week until I come back this weekend to bring her furniture. I am so grateful for the empathetic approach Addington Place has demonstrated.

I highly recommend Deborah Gaskin as my senior coordinator at Addington Place. She took out her time to give me and my mother a tour of your beautiful facility. It is a clean, bright and airy with gardens to sit and visit. The facility is safe and during these challenging times of COVID-19, they are very diligent about keeping the residents safe. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and courteous. If I could, I would give it a six-star rating. I researched about 20 places, finally deciding on Addington Place of Shoal Creek. My mother feels safe and comfortable. She enjoys interacting with the staff and meeting new people. Deborah did an exceptional job walking us through the process and making us feel just like family.
