My Mom has been there over 7 years, in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and one period in Rehabilitation. The key thing is the respect that this institution has for each person, both the residents and the employees. The values of human dignity that the Catholic nuns founded it upon years ago have continued to dictate the way each person, regardless of strength or ability is perceived and treated. More practically, they continue to update the facilities and Mass is said live there daily. I can’t say enough for the people that work there. I trust them to do their best every day for my mother. I must add that the amazingly talented musician Jing is also a very special blessing for the Villa.

My mom only got to live at AV for a few months, but she had a very positive experience there. Her independent living apartment was beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make her feel welcome and meet her needs. We added services from the Franciscan Care team, and they were very helpful in finding the right solution. After a major health event, mom was moved to skilled nursing at AV for a brief period. The staff there are caring, attentive, and professional. They provided excellent care. One thing that stands out to me is that some of the staff who mom met while in independent living went to visit her in skilled nursing. I highly recommend AV to anyone considering a retirement community.

My mom recently passed away in their care. In her last days, I was at Addolorata 24/7. I was absolutely astounded by the level of care from all the staff, top down. Many I had never encountered before because I usually just visited in the afternoon. Every client is treated with dignity. Even the janitorial staff is caring! I don't know where they find these people but thank God they do. Couldn't give this place higher marks.

My mom decided very quickly to move to Addolorata. The team was extremely accommodating in getting a room, and coordinating the move. They made sure she felt welcome and comfortable. Their communication has been great. It is also a great value. My mom also had extensive experience with them before moving and was very impressed. She especially loves that they have a chapel with the Real Presence and daily mass. They also have plenty of activities to keep her busy. The other residents are also friendly.

Can’t say enough good things about Addolorata Villa Independent Living. My 97 year old mother moved there the end of last year and has flourished. She was reluctantly at first about moving from her own home to a facility but once she moved, she never regretted the decision. Addolorata Villa lets residences retain their independence while offering safety and security as well as wide variety of social activities if they choose to participate. In addition, as a Catholic the opportunity to attend mass was something that made my mother very happy. And the food is amazing. Family members who visited my mother and shared meals with her in the dining room couldn’t stop raving about the food. I want to give kudos to two employees specifically. Liz S. from marketing helped us so much when we first started looking at Addolorata Villa through the contract and move in process. And Donna I. the Independent Living Coordinator was outstanding and helped us in so many ways. I highly recommend Addolorata Villa.
