My aunt was recently a patient at Altercare Mayfield Village for a month. SOME of the staff and aides were nice especially Gabriella, she was helpful with getting my aunt all her important information. Mervin was nice and comical also the very nice lady at the front desk I am sorry I didn’t get her name she was so sweet she always greeted me with her beautiful smile. Fran was very nice in helping my aunt RYW with playing bingo and giving prizes as well. It was definitely an experience for me, no place is perfect but I am glad my aunt didn’t have any major problems.

Room was dirty on arrival. 24 urine smell. Residents eat breakfast sitting in their own urine. Most aides are unfriendly and do not want to be there. Unprofessional staff. Unsanitary conditions. Flies and gnats landing on residents and food. Understaffed. Unresponsive and sometimes no response when you press your button for help. Would not send my worst enemy there. I couldn’t get my mom out of there fast enough.
