AMAZING LOVE RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME

I HIGHLY recommend A Restful Retreat! I never, ever imagined being able to have mom in a place that didn’t leave me sad or worried when I wasn’t there. But here, I had such peace and confidence leaving her in the hands of others. On all fronts .. medical, social, emotional, nutrition, hygiene, you name it … she was expertly cared for and genuinely loved. Her individual preferences and needs were first determined and then were valued and incorporated into her care plan. Rhonda’s (the owner) extensive healthcare background combined with her (big) heart for seniors was just the kind of support our family (and mom) needed. And, Rhonda is intentional about hiring with excellence too. Rhonda’s care partners are extra attentive and loving and hard working. The entire team was great too at helping coordinate on-site therapies, medical visits, Rx delivery, again – you name it! Those kinds of details can be overwhelming when you have to manage them all on your own. Our family (a couple of generations) loved that we could visit any time and never felt ‘in the way’. We always felt welcome and involved. When the time came for mom to receive hospice care, their loving and dignified care for mom along with their support of all the family made a difficult time actually very peaceful and serene. I have sung the praises of A Restful Retreat for months to many of my friends. In writing this public review, I sing the praises to all of you who read it!

Rhonda, the owner, and her staff took amazing care of my 90 year old mother until her death from natural causes. They treated her with tender care and dignity and made her feel secure and loved. They welcomed any and all family members whenever we wanted to visit, no need for an appointment. The house is just like a home, in a wonderful wooded area with a large front and back yard, a beautiful flower garden and songbirds galore! We all loved sitting on the front porch and just enjoying the view and nature’s music. I would highly recommend Restful Retreat to anyone who is interested in finding a homelike setting and excellent care for their loved ones.

A Restful Retreat is a one-of-a-kind, unique, incredibly amazing personal care home in the Woodstock/Acworth area. The owner Rhonda has been providing top notch care to individuals for decades and she knows what she's doing. Her healthcare expertise is obvious from the moment you meet her; truly professional and yet still very personable. The other care givers are warm, kind-hearted and work around the clock to provide your loved ones with the absolute best care. The home is very clean, decorated with style, and the windows provide lovely views of wildlife, trees, and flower gardens. I'm hard pressed to think you'll find a better home for your loved one. A Restful Retreat was an outstanding choice for hospice care for my mother. The staff Rhonda, Misty, and Tara provided caring and compassionate support to Mom and our family. The facility is clean and well appointed (a home on a peaceful wooded lot on a country road). My Mom received dedicated personal 24/7 support - something that is very difficult to find these days.
