Angel Wings Home Care

My daughter was in this facility for 3 months and lost over 50 lbs. She developed a kidney stone and Gretchen refused to allow anyone take my daughter to the hospital. My experiences in nursing homes with my daughter, have been horrific. Inhumane! Should not be in business! Much less have a nursing license.

Thank you for teaching me CPR and getting me certified. Angel Wings Assisted Living is such a beautiful place, and you always take the time to help other people. The class was awesome, and you really know what you're doing! Thanks again, and don't ever let anyone steal your shine!

I would not recommend this place for anyone's family member. The new owner is in over her head, blames residents for things that are not their fault, and is not mature enough to take care of those that are not mentally stable. *edit, since I am not able to reply to Gretchen's response. I used a name that was fake on this review so my family member was not retaliated against. I am not trying to hurt a business, merely providing my opinion based on the experience we had. I have the text messages, and recorded video of some of the discussions we had pertaining to my loved ones care. On top of the unprofessionalism I witnessed relative to my loved ones care, my family member reported how a resident fell multiple times which I myself witnessed as well, faulty medication management, and harassing behavior. I removed my loved one from Angel Wings. You can make your own choices but under Gretchen's care, I did not feel like my family member was safe.

Awesome place!! Best care I've seen in a longtime- the new owner is a nurse and she is absolutely great!! Thank you for everything!!

After reading a review of Angel Wings this morning I feel compelled to offer my own review. A negative review offered by Mr. Chavez cannot be any further from the truth. In fact, I am horrified with his commentary which to most would seem slanderous. As a former chaplain in healthcare and assisted living facilities for over 14 years I visited Angel Wings Assisted Living. I spent two hours with the new owner and the residents of Angel Wings. I observed nothing but professionalism and heartwarming care for the residents. Two of the residents could not say enough positive and inspiring things about their home and the home's new owner. I was so pleasantly touched with my observations that I offered to volunteer to help spruce the place up and perhaps even offer chaplain services. For those reading this review, please consider visiting Angel Wings Assisted Living and see for yourself how happy the residents really are.
