ARBOR TERRACE DECATUR

If I could give Arbor Terrace 6 stars I would -- I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. The staff genuinely care deeply about the residents which translates to above and beyond service consistently, in both every day interactions as well as in emergency situations. When we were cleaning out the apartment after our parent's passing, we were overwhelmed and moved by the number of staff that stopped by to tell us stories about our parent and how much they would miss them. They are also wonderful to work with from an administrative perspective, leading with empathy and understanding.

My brothers and I did extensive research before moving our 95 year old mother from New Hampshire to the Arbor Terrace in Decatur. Major factors in our decision making included the tenure of the staff, moderate size and home-like feel of the facility, and ability to easily move Mom from assisted living to memory care when deemed appropriate. All of our criteria have been more than met. After being fiercely independent her entire life, Mom now is letting the excellent staff at Arbor Terrace assist her with their tremendous attention, kindness and sensitivity. The atmosphere is serene and loving. I live thousands of miles from Atlanta but feel fully comfortable knowing Mom is receiving such tremendous care. Thank you Arbor Terrace!

We placed my mother here in May and she has flourished. She has become more social, attending the exercise classes and joining bookclub! The team here is patient with my mom when she has tough days. This is the best thing we have done for my mom since her level of care increased to more consistent assistance.

David Stewart, as well as all of the Arbor Terrace staff members are a pleasure to work with, and they are always very helpful and accommodating! I am with Bridgeway Affinity Hospice and we partner with the exceptional team of professionals at Arbor Terrace at Decatur to care for their residents. I must say how impressed I am to observe first hand the quality care that is provided to the residents at Arbor Terrace. I must extend my kudos to Stacey Copeland, Memory Care Director, and her team members for continuing to provide the best quality care for their residents. The unit is always clean and provides a welcoming atmosphere. The family members that I have personally connected with, share their satisfaction about the high level of service they have been receiving for their loved ones. I know with this level of commitment from the team at Arbor Terrace at Decatur it goes without saying that the community Administrator, David has earned the respect of his team and has reciprocated such. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Arbor Terrace at Decatur to family members seeking a senior living community for their loved ones, knowing this community will provide the best care in a safe environment.
