Arbor Terrace South Forsyth

As a fellow professional within the industry, I recently toured Arbor Terrace South Forsyth to become acquainted, and potentially recommend to my clients that are in need. I was very impressed. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so pleasant. The community itself is warm, beautifully designed and maintained. The bridges memory care area, really stood out for it's intentional layout and focus on dignity, engagement and of course safety. The staff was very welcoming , knowledgeable, and clearly committed to quality, compassionate care.

I think Arbour Terrace is wonderful. Of course, I am impressed by its food and environment, but the most important thing to me is that I know I can continue to live here even when I am no longer independent and need more advanced nursing care. They have me covered to the end, and what a caring staff!

Arbor is a special place. My mom has been at Arbor for over a year now, and I couldn't be happier with the staff, her care or the facility. When looking for a place for mom, Arbor was the 2nd of 13 places we looked, and afterward, all other places were measured against it. While many were nice, it just didn't compare to Arbor. I just knew it was the right place for her. Walking in, you could feel the quality and caring atmosphere of the facility. The staff were welcoming, the residents were happy, and they listened to what was important to us…that my mom would be safe, comfortable and happy. From Karen, the executive director, who always has an open door, to Makieu, the medical director, who knows the rules and what's needed, to Roy, the chef extraordinaire, to all the activity staff, medical technicians and care managers, they are all truly dedicated to taking care of the residents. Given the challenge of working with an elderly population, Arbor sets itself apart: my mom's room is always clean, her laundry is done, her meals are tasty and nutritious, she has friends to eat meals and be social with, and she has onsite PT/OT. And special shoutouts to Darlene, front desk, Dolores, my favorite server, Barbara, who cleans mom's room, and, of course, Ms. Cha-Cha, the beautician who works magic on the residents. There's Nitya, Bria, Idah and…there are just too many to name. I rest easy at night knowing where my mom is, which, when you think about it, is what matters most.

The food Chef Roy serves is delicious. The servers, Michael, Jonathan and Sierra are excellent. They are fast and efficient servers. They are patient and respectful to all the residents and are a noteable credit to Arbor Terrace.
