We are thankful to have found a care facility for our loved one that provides excellent care, a nurturing environment, a welcoming atmosphere, and a collaborative approach. We joined the New Perspective family more than 2 years ago and couldn’t be happier! Our welcome began with a comprehensive tour of the beautiful facility by Sales Director Kelly, who also took the time to address our questions and concerns relating to how to address our loved one’s transition from assisted living to memory care as his illness progressed. The nurses and caregivers are attentive, caring and respectful. Kudos to all, with special heart-felt thanks to Alma, Massa, Girlie, Rayna, Shaq, Gloria and the many others who show compassion and commitment to our family. Director Kirsten is amazing! She is visible and accessible throughout the facility and is always ready, willing, and able to assist with any question or concern. Kirsten’s positive approach and commitment to the residents and their families sets the tone for the entire community. Much gratitude and thanks to Jamie for the many activities provided, to the dining staff who provide delicious meals, and to receptionist Mary for her warm welcomes and genuine concern.

I'm so torn about my/Mom's experience. The assisted living community/meals/activities have exceeded my expectations. Plenty of variety, community is clean, residents seem happy, Mom is happy! Activity team is engaging & kind. Meal servers attentive & helpful. Executive Director (Kirsten) is very responsive, adept at problem solving with the family & clearly has a big heart for her residents. I would give NP 5 stars if Mom didn't have any health-care needs, but she does. The Healthcare team has been a mixed bag. A few observant and dutiful staff have given my mom great care. Others have been neglectful, leading to to recent skin breakdowns, last year a wound/infection that required toe amputation and numerous concerns about POA (me) not being notified when an infection occurs or med is added. With her dementia diagnosis, not knowing about med or health changes makes coordinating care with various specialists difficult for me and dangerous for Mom. My caution would be if your loved one has mobility challenges, or incontinence, or cognitive impairment, spend as much time as you can there to ensure they are getting the care they need and dignity they deserve. Especially visit when staffing is lower during the holidays, nights or weekends. No place is perfect and I hope to get to a place where Mom's health is consistently addressed, but we aren't there yet. There is a new director of nursing, so hoping we can work together to get Mom the proper care moving forward.

My Mom moved to New Perspectives 8 months ago. We were unhappy with her care where she was living, and needed a place that could provide advanced care in a sensitive and respectful manner. From the beginning they accessed all her needs and gave us options to give her even better care than we knew was available. Everyone on staff deserves a thousand gold stars!!! But I want to mention two people who have been special to us. One of her daily caregivers, Girlie, has given my mom such compassion and respect. Her attention to detail and her positive attitude and smiles are priceless! Another person I have grown to love is the front desk receptionist Mary. She welcomed us like family from the first moment. We often sit in the lobby and visit. Watching Mary hold the place together with confidence and a brilliant sense of humor is truly a joy !!!! She treats everyone like they are the most important person in the room. We are so grateful to New Perspectives for caring for our Mom in a way that gives us peace of mind 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Exceptional Care and Community! My father moved into New Perspective Senior Living this past June, and we've been incredibly impressed with the level of care and customer service. The staff is attentive, compassionate, and truly dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment. From the very beginning, they made the transition smooth and reassuring for our entire family. The community is vibrant, clean, and thoughtfully designed. We feel confident knowing he's in such good hands and surrounded by people who genuinely care. Highly recommend New Perspective to anyone looking for quality senior living!

New Perspectives, Long Grove has provided great care for my mother. My mother has been a resident in the memory care wing at New Perspectives, Long Grove for over 2 years. She entered just after Covid, new ownership transition along with a transitional Executive Director. There were some noticeable rough spots when she first entered, however the core staff was present which did not diminish high quality care that my mom received. Shout outs to the excellent care takers, activity directors and Katherine, the Health & Wellness director, for exercising great skill and compassion during this transitional period. There has been a noticeable improvement with current Executive Director Kirsten (in place since July of 2024). Kirsten is fantastic and maintains strong leadership in providing a high quality of life for the residents. Don't be distracted with the "Shiny Brand New" facilities that are popping up. It's the staff and the care that they provide that really matter - New Perspectives, Long Grove continues to provide excellent care for its residents.
