Arlington Place of Oelwein

After having a whirlwind battle the first 2 rounds of breast cancer chemo and 3 hospital admissions, my mom found her home at Arlington Place. We could not ask for a better place of care, love, comfort, grace, and friendly staff! We are ready to continue mom's battle with a whole army of supporters behind her at Arlington Place!

As my siblings pointed out, the AP staff went above and beyond looking after our mother during the many years that she was a resident. They made us feel welcome anytime we were visiting and looked after her family as well during her final days,

Arlington Place in Oelwein, Iowa, is absolutely the greatest. During our mother's almost fifteen years there, the staff made her feel loved as though she was family, their own mother. You couldn't ask for anything better. In fact, during our mother's final days, staff members stopped in to visit and see her before and after their shifts ended. What a wonderful group of staff members. Thank you all for everything!

Arlington Place has been "home" for my mother for several years. Arlington Place provided not only the care she needed but social time with the residents and staff, which was equally important for her well being. She recently passed and the staff took care of not only Mom but her family as well. They were her extended family and a blessing for Mom and her family. Kathy Quam

The Arlington Place staff are always so welcoming, when I visit. Speaking of welcoming, when it’s nice outside the tenants are sitting on the porch enjoying the fresh air or in the lounge area they are very welcoming. The atmosphere at Arlington Place just makes you feel good when I visit. Very much a feel at home vibe, like the dining room environment is just like going and sitting at your mom or grandmas kitchen table. The staff are very helpful when I ask questions and they are very willing to assist me with whatever I might need. I do also want to mention the attendance and the smiling faces at Arlington Place activities. You can tell they really enjoy participating and look forward to the variety of the activities.
