Everything about this place is wonderful! Very attentive staff, walk you through all the details and take great care our family member. Highly recommend! A special thank you to Scott and Lisa!

The nursing staff is very good. The facility itself is not. Residents are placed in small, dark rooms. The atmosphere is gloomy and depressing. The medicare rooms need a more welcoming paint palette. The food is adequate.

I would not recommend this nursing home to anyone. The facility itself is very nice and the private rooms are nice. However, there are far too few nurses and aides, so when the resident puts on the light it could very well take 20 minutes or longer to have someone come to her room. Not the nurses or aides fault, just not enough staff to cover the number of residents. Also I learned that some of the nurses were putting in 18 hour shifts -- no one can be alert for that length of time. The food was served cold as it came from another building, and the portions were very small. My mother lost her appetite completely with sometimes not even knowing what the food was, and always cold. Her need for a doctor was not addressed until a family member insisted that my Mom needed attention and they then rushed her to the hospital. What would have happened if family members were not around? Thankfully, we have found a nursing home for my Mom that is run properly, with personal that makes each resident feel important and well cared for. Grand JIVanite,, I feel is more interested in making a profit than serving its residents.

The workers, the residents, and the atmosphere at Grand Jivante are all phenomenal. If you're looking for a place that feels like home TO call home, I highly suggest this facility. Come join the family!
