Artis Senior Living of Lakeview

We took my Mom to Artis after my Dad passed. She lasted 9 days. Her toothbrush was never opened. I changed her clothes twice. Her Depends was so soiled one day it went through to her pants. Not happy with anything at Artis. I do not recommend.

As a healthcare professional, I was immediately impressed with this community. The staff was welcoming and the resident rooms and community spaces were filled with happy residents enjoying their day. The memory care was a lively active area with staff directly working with residents on an art project. Everyone was engaged and enjoying the moment. It was truly a positive environment. If you are looking for memory care in Lakeview I would not pass up this gem of a community.

This is a five star retirement home! My grandfather was recently put in this retirement home, and he loved it! They have lots of security, making sure the place is secure, and they also have a yard outside, perfect for the ones who want to go outside and take a walk. They also have dining rooms for family to eat with the one they are visiting and have a chat. The staff are very nice, and so are the elderly that live there. This place is amazing, and has basically everything you need at all times.

I visited Artis Lake View twice while exploring memory care options for our father—first on my own, and then again with my sister when she was in town. Both times, we were deeply impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and care we experienced—especially from Curtis. He is truly exceptional. His compassion for seniors shines through in every conversation, and he took the time to make sure we felt heard, informed, and supported at every step. Artis Lake View is a beautiful, welcoming community with a thoughtful approach to memory care. The environment feels both calm and engaging, and it's clear the staff are dedicated to treating residents with dignity and respect. While we ultimately chose another facility based on location and proximity to family, our decision was a difficult one—largely because of how wonderful Curtis and Artis were. I would absolutely recommend Artis Lake View to anyone looking for a memory care community with heart. Curtis, thank you for everything!

My Dad “Mr. Ed” loved living at Artis Senior Living in Lakeview! The living, gathering and dining, and outdoor spaces are beautiful. The entire building was always so clean and well-maintained. He loved the 5th floor garden room, views of the city, fresh flowers and upscale decor. The level of care he received was exceptional. Dad always felt loved, connected with many of the other residents he considered friends, and well cared for. The Care Partners created a special bond with my Dad and he delighted in their warm kindness, and gentle caring ways, and felt a kinship with many. Artis truly felt like home for him and seemed like a second family to him. He enjoyed activities throughout each week including movies, classical music and singing, poetry writing class, daily Happy Hours with others, occasional outings, and hours on the patio. Dad even served as Ambassador for a year welcoming other residents and new staff! BBQs and special celebrations were such a nice way for families to gather together too! The food was always tasty, lots of variety and choices (even honor special requests, and certain dietary requirements), and he enjoyed dining together with other residents as well as the option to dine in his room when he wasn’t feeling up to going out. We had looked at several Senior Assisted Living communities that offered Assisted Living arrangement before choosing Artis. He had a comfy 1 bedroom with a den and small kitchenette, that was lovely and just the right size. I know it was the right choice for home for him to spend his final 2 years of life. I always felt welcomed and part of the Artis family too. In his final days under hospice care at Artis, his care givers were so sweet and helped Dad and our family say goodbye in a peaceful and dignified way. I would highly recommend Artis Lakeview for anyone considering a final home for a loved one needing Assisted Living.
