Asbury Court

I would highly recommend this place for everyone that needs extra care. I had the pleasure of working with Joanna from admissions and all her counterparts dealing with a smooth transition for my dad. Joanna was very helpful and empathetic with our situation. She definitely went above and beyond to ensure that my dad was well taken care of. I want to thank all the staff for all that they do, my family really appreciates it!

We needed to move my uncle to a supportive living facility. Joanna and her team were so incredibly kind and helpful. From day one when we had questions about how the process worked, over a month as we sent her documents and asked questions, and finally on move in day--she was such a wonderful resource. The facility is nice (and is currently being renovated), and they were so welcoming getting my uncle settled and moved in. We are very grateful.

I just moved my father into Memory Care from another facility and I can not speak enough about the help the entire team was on smoothing the transition. First.... Joanna was amazing on the paperwork and moving things along because it is a lot. Then when I moved my father in, she was waiting for me and made sure the move was seamless. Second... Vanessa in the business office is all over everything and made the contract and other paperwork process simple and straight forward. Third... Gricelda, the Memory Care director was pleasant and so helpful making my father feel welcome and secure in his new place at a very stressful time for patients with dementia. Her whole team made my father feel welcomed and did the initial assessment and reviewed his medications fast and efficient. I highly recommend anyone that requires around the clock care to consider Asbury Court. Aging is always a difficult thing for families to manage, but the team at Asbury makes it as easy and efficient as possible. Bobby B

I would give Asbury Court in Des Plaines 10 stars if I could. We needed to move my mom into a memory care quickly. Joanna, the admissions director, was kind, efficient and professional in helping us work through the daunting paperwork and all that is required to move from one facility to another.. Within days she had our financials approved, set us up with a nurse assessment, and had my mom's room painted, professionally cleaned and ready to move in. Joanna is a wonderful person and it truly shows she wants to help people in every way she can. A few other people who went over and above to help us with the process were Gricelda, the memory care floor manager, who gave us her personal cell phone number and told us to call anytime of the day if we needed anything, and THE kindest maintenance person named Erwin. Erwin knew my mom enjoyed watching television and worked diligently to get her the perfect reception on her TV. He even stopped what he was doing to help me put on a fitted sheet while making up my mom's bed in her new room; a kind gesture that did not go unnoticed. My mom is very happy and settled in as Asbury Court and I can finally sleep well at night knowing she is in the best care; the nurses, CNA staff, and all the people on her floor are approachable, helpful and kind. If you are looking for a clean, safe, and friendly caring place for a family member, Asbury Place in Des Plaines is definitely worth a look.

My father Stanley has been looking for a place to live independently for a long time. After meeting with Joanna at Asbury Court he decided this was the right place for him. She was very helpful with his transition, and helped us organize his studio. The rest of the staff are always friendly, caring, and supportive.
