Salterra Senior Living at Ashbrook

My mom has been at Volante for almost 2 months. I'm not sure how much she enjoys it but she has made lots of friends and the nurses take great care of her. My favorites are Shakaya, Sandriana, Priscilla (who treats mom like her mom) and Audrey. They are always making sure mom eats and is engaged in activites when possible. (If she doesnt make it to eat they will even bring food to her room). They take the time to actually have conversations with mom and make sure she is well cared for in my absence. Also when I have a need for mom they are willing to help her out. Shawn the manager and Genelle the wellness director are also very helpful and willing to manage any and all concerns you have. David the med tech also must be great cause mom remembers him by name...LOL. They have a few newbies like Kaitlin who are also trying to engage with mom who is a toughie. Definitely come out for a visit and you won't be disappointed. They have lots and lots of activities to keep you engaged thanks to Brittany the activities director- you can be as active as you want. I'll be back to post if they let me down cause trust I stay on them!

Before Volante took over this place was ok, but under the new management and predatory price Increases, coupled with a decline in the quality of care and even food preparation Ashbrook has become a sub-par assisted living. For the same price you can put your loved one in a much nicer facility. The new company has a reputation of taking well run facilities and running them straight into the ground, and Ashbrook is well on it's way. The director of this facility lacks empathy and is only concerned with the bottom dollar.

Volante Senior Living at Ashbrook in Villa Rica is really something special. It offers assisted living, memory care, and independent living in a way that feels like home. From the moment you walk in, you notice how welcoming the place is. The staff genuinely cares about the residents, treating them with respect and making sure they feel valued. The building itself is clean and cozy, with open spaces for people to relax or spend time with others. What really stands out about Volante is how they handle memory care. The staff understands how tough memory loss can be, and they work closely with families to provide care that’s both personal and thoughtful. The activities they plan aren’t just about keeping residents busy—they focus on helping people stay mentally and emotionally healthy. Families can feel good knowing their loved ones are in a safe and caring place. Another big plus is the community atmosphere. There’s always something going on, whether it’s fun social events, tasty meals, or wellness programs. The staff doesn’t just do their job—they truly care about each person’s quality of life, making Volante feel like one big family. And when you see the staff sharing meals with residents, it’s clear they’re invested in making everyone feel comfortable and at home.

Our loved one has called Ashbrook Village home for almost 3 years. Throughout her stay we have seen management come and go and had growing concerns over the care for our loved one until Pat, the new manager came on board. She has made a tremendous difference in the quality of care for our loved one. She is very hands on and always put action behind her words. We have seen her spend entire weekends working hands on doing whatever was necessary. From my observation, she gets to know each resident by name, spends time getting to know them personally, visits with them and sends us pictures of our loved one at special events and parties. She made needed changes with staffing and initiated additional training for all staff. The staff now seems to be very knowledgeable, caring and well trained. Pat, the new Executive Director, is wonderful and we are 100% satisfied with Ashbrook Village again.

The community is very clean. The care staff are wonderful, and take great care of and love the residents. Management is helpful and involved, always making sure the residents are happy . The food is really good and the menu has lots of variety. Ashbrook Village is a hidden gem that offers a more affordable senior living option in Villa Rica.
