ATRIA GREENRIDGE PLACE

This wonderful place has been a life saver for my mom. Feel so fortunate she can live here safely and she is well looked after and cared for by the wonderful staff. The place is so beautiful and the staff is so friendly and caring. What a god send!

My Mom lived at Greenridge for almost 7 years, starting in 2018 in Independent Living, transitioning to Assisted Living in 2023 and eventually to Memory Care in 2024. Her experience there was wonderful. I live nearby and visited nearly every day so I feel like I have first hand knowledge of the community. Staff are fantastic, from reception to nursing to activities to housekeeping to dining to maintenance to administration to the aides, who in my opinion are angels on this earth! I truly felt that my Mom was being so well cared for and Greenridge became part of our family. I’ll be honest, when it was suggested we look into memory care I was nervous because I didn’t know what to expect, but their memory care community is basically very similar to the other side, just less residents and more care. I wish I had moved my Mom to memory care a year earlier than I did. Also, when a hospice evaluation was suggested I was a bit skeptical because my Mom was still mobile and participating in meals and activities, but was sleeping more and eating less. She qualified for hospice so we had additional services available. Things moved rather quickly at the end and just 6 weeks after qualifying for hospice my Mom passed. I was grateful she was able to stay in her apartment where she was comfortable and surrounded by so many who genuinely cared for her. The outpouring of support we received after she passed is something I will never forget. I would 100% recommend Greenridge for your senior family members.

My mom, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, moved to the Life Guidance (memory care) community in March 2024 after having lived in a different memory care facility since January 2023. The move was precipitated by a number of factors, and I struggled with the decision to uproot my mom and transition her to a new location, but I am so glad we made the move to Atria at Greenridge Place when we did. Not only is the cost of the facility less than what we were paying before, the property, staff and amenities are superior. The director of Life Guidance is a treasure. She cares deeply and personally for all the residents and their families. It is a great comfort knowing that she is watching over my mom. In addition to the personal attention given to residents by all staff members, there are constant activities for the residents to participate in. Whether I am visiting on a weekday or a Sunday afternoon, the residents are enjoying a thoughtfully planned activity. On a St. Patrick’s Day visit, the residents were watching the NYC parade while making shamrock shakes. During March Madness, the residents played a basketball trivia game before cheering on UConn. There are singalongs, dancing, and craft activities. Once a month, the residents make a virtual visit to a new country. Mom went to India last month and tried Indian food for the first time in her life! The staff is friendly, compassionate, and supportive. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the wonderful receptionists who remember everyone’s name and greet all residents and guests with a friendly hello and a beaming smile. The facility is bright, clean, and inviting - and the new dining room is particularly impressive. Mom settled in quickly and is much happier (and busier) than she ever was at the first memory care community. My only regret is that my mom didn’t come to live here in the first instance.

Atria Greenridge Place is for senior LIVING! My aunt is very happy there and is finally living her best life! The staff made her transition so wonderful and took special care to make her feel comfortable and safe. Truly special people work there...they make everyone feel loved, respected, and cared about. The building and grounds are beautiful. There is absolutely no smell and everything is always immaculate. The activities are engaging and fun. I can't believe how busy my aunt is now...she even does Tai Chi! We are thankful for Atria Greenridge Place!

The Atria Greenridge Place community offers residents a full calendar of social and individualized activities designed to keep them active, engaged and happy. The trained Caregivers Provide 24-Hour Attention & Assistance to the residents. A beautiful community both inside and out. The staff are amazing! Kind and caring to each resident.
