The first thing you notice about this community is how friendly and nice all of the staff are. Every single person from every single department is welcoming warm and genuinely cares about all of the residents in their care. There was tons of activities going on and the food looked and smelled delicious.

Atria Larson Place is truly a hidden gem in Hamden! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth and sense of community that makes this place special. The staff are not only professional but genuinely caring — they treat residents like family. The Executive Director leads with compassion and energy, ensuring every department works together to provide excellent care, engaging programs, and delicious dining experiences. The culinary team deserves a special shoutout — the meals are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Residents enjoy a full calendar of activities, from fitness classes and art workshops to outings and live entertainment. The building is bright, well-maintained, and feels like home. I have been to Atria Larson Place for many events and also as a companion hired by family to escort the resident to the appointment. The facility is always so clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. During the events I have attended the residents enjoy themselves. The concerts (indoor and outdoor) are great.

Atria Larson Place isn't just a beautiful building - it's a place of warmth thanks to it's staff. I just want to take a moment and give a shout-out to Robyn, who oversees the programs and activities. As a clinician, I've had the opportunity to conduct talks on brain health and dementia care, which Robyn was able to facilitate. Atria Larson is really just such a wonderful place for Seniors to live and I'm grateful to be able to be a part of this Community as a senior care professional.

Our aunt has been a resident of Atria Larsen for several years now. We are very, very pleased with the care and attentiveness the staff gives her and the other residents. The communications to the families has been outstanding, especially during Covid-19 surges keeping us abreast of coordinating the patient safety through vaccinations, masks, limiting guests and other CDC guidelines. It was amazing how very few cases Atria Larsen experienced, especially compared to other health care providers. Most recently the staff assisted in coordinating a family party assuring everything fell into place. They all went above and beyond, exceeding all our expectations. I would strongly consider placing a loved one in this facility.
