Autumn Leaves of Bolingbrook

My father has been at Encore in Bolingbrook since October. Placing him in a memory care facility was a very difficult decision for our family, but we sleep easier now, knowing he is getting great care at a clean, elegant place with a home like environment. It is nothing like a nursing home. Our dad is happier and less agitated since moving to Encore. We were trying to care for him in his home after our mom passed sway, but he needed more care and safety measures than we could provide because of his dementia. We feel like Encore is the next best thing to his own home at this stage of his illness.

I have worked in palliative care and hospice since 2022 and have had the honor of working with several patients who reside at Encore Memory Care in Bolingbrook. Patients and families speak highly of the building and the services provided, but most importantly they appreciate and trust the staff. The wonderful setup for people with memory loss feels like home both for residents and visiting family members, and the staff is consistent, reliable, and truly cares. Encore is a wonderful, hidden gem in a convenient location, with very reasonable prices especially when compared to similar options in the area.

Encore has been a true blessing to our family. My Mother has been taken care of so well. Every time we visit, you can tell she is clean, fed, well cared for and happy. It has a very homey feel and is large enough where you don't feel on top of each other but small enough that you feel like you are in someone's home. They have special events for the residents and some are able to go on field trips to see Christmas lights, get ice cream and go out to eat as well as other things. They have events families can attend to interact with everyone. The people working with your loved one are employees of Encore and not agency workers. I have really enjoyed all of the employees that have been working with my Mom. They care about the residents and families always feel welcomed when visiting. I recommend for anyone looking for a place to have their loved one live.

I recently visited Encore Memory care in Bolingbrook and had such a positive experience! The first thing I noticed was the community was super clean and well maintained. They have three beautiful and secure outdoor courtyards where the residents can safely enjoy the fresh air and outdoors. Several common areas are available for families to use if they want to have a private gathering or social event that gave the community a at home feel. The studio apartments were warm and homey and did not have a clinical feel, and the front sitting area was very welcoming. What stood out the most was how happy and friendly the residents were. It seemed as if they truly felt like a part of a thriving community and were proud of their home. Overall, it’s a wonderful environment for a memory care facility.

The entire staff at Encore in Bolingbrook has been great, especially Amanda. They have been so easy to work with, so accommodating. They are always around to answer any & all our questions. We moved my mother in law to Encore after a few months at a different facility. Mom is doing great and enjoys the staff and other residents. We would highly recommend Encore in Bolingbrook.
