My mom moved into Encore Memory Care a week ago. All of the staff and management at Encore are very compassionate and very responsive. Communicating with them is so easy. The facility itself is very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend Encore in Crystal Lake for your loved one.

Do you have a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease who requires additional care and stimulation? Then Encore Memory Care should be at the top of your list. My mother was not a social butterfly, and she was apprehensive about living away from “home.” Within an hour after arrival on her first day, mom was smiling and engaging in activities as if she had been living at Encore for a long time. Mom even was the center of attention when Abednego (a comfort dog) arrived for his bimonthly visit. The staff (administrative, nursing, care assistants, etc.) provide tender loving care for each resident. Placing a loved one in a care facility can be stressful, but the staff at Encore will put you at ease. Residents engage in numerous activities throughout the day; they are not stuck in a corner and ignored. Every activity challenges the residents. The types of activities vary each day, including weekends and holidays. Tasty meals and daily snacks keep residents physically healthy. Each resident has a detailed care plan that addresses their every need. Mom’s residency at Encore was short with her unexpected passing to eternal life, but her family is thankful that she had a rewarding experience at Encore. We highly recommend Encore Memory Care!

My mom lived at Encore in Crystal lake for two and a half years. She was well taken care of, they have a very compassionate staff. My mom felt loved! She was comfortable there and enjoyed the daily activities. She especially liked it when they went on field trips with the bus. I was fortunate enough to chaperone one of those trips, mom and the other residents were so well looked after, it was amazing! My mom passed away in November. I fell that the staff at Encore made her time there enjoyable. It’s a great place! I’m thankful for everything they did for mom. Thank you Encore.

I cannot speak highly enough of Encore Memory Center in Crystal Lake. My mother has been a resident there for just a little over a year now and it was the best decision we ever made. She is safe and cared for and loved. The staff at Encore is always so kind and friendly, the exact traits you want in caregivers who are looking after your loved ones. What puts Encore above others for me is the fact that the residents have free rein of the entire facility, not just a room in the back corner of a larger facility. My mom is also challenged daily by the activities and games that both Shannon and Annie put together on a daily basis. You can trust your loved ones aren’t just parked in front of a tv all day. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one with Alzheimer’s. If you have to make the difficult decision to move them into a facility, this is the one you should choose! 💜
