AUTUMN WOODS, INC

I've definitely seen worse, but not happy with my friend's situation. (She's a resident.) She's assigned a roommate who probably needs to be in memory care, and frequently has to deal with stuff that's way above her "pay grade". That said, I like that they use an adult day program, giving the residents somewhere to go, and a sense of having a life, each day. Also that residents who can handle it are given responsibilities such as "dish duty" one day a week. This is not one of those places where you "look at the pretty scenery and wait to die", but actively participate in life. My favorite thing about Autumn Woods, though, is a cat named Sweetie Marie, who means a great deal to my friend! 🐈
