Our family has been extremely happy with the Village at Buckland Court ever since my sister moved here two months ago. Everyone has made her (and all of us) feel so welcome and quickly she was encouraged to be part of this wonderful village. Everyone here has helped her with the transition from home to her "new home". We are so grateful for everyone. The love and caring here is so obvious the minute you walk in the door.

My mom is living at The Village at Buckland Court and absolutely loves it! The staff treat her like a queen. She loves the food and activities and has made many friends. I would highly recommend this place.

My aunt moved in and her apartment is perfect. Everyone was so welcoming and made my aunt feel like she was the most important person there. The nurse Kay was patient and took her time talking with us. Jordan was nice to make us all feel welcome when we arrived to move her furniture into the apartment. Joyce met us when we brought my aunt back and she made this process so easy for my family. We had met Frank the day before and he was also welcoming and helpful. This experience that we were anxious about wound up making us feel so at ease that we know we made the right choice. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for senior living.

Amy writing: My mother moved into The Village at Buckland Court on July 12, 2024. When Kelly, RN, the Resident Care Director asked my mother how she was doing at her one month assessment, my mother stated, "I'm very happy here." That was all I needed to hear to confirm that we as a family had made the right decision to help our mother move to The Village. She has subsequently told me many times that she is happy and that we made the right decision with her move. My sisters and I took our mother to visit 3 local assisted living communities. We toured them and asked lots of questions. After discussing each facility with her, we asked Mom which one she liked the best. She stated, "The Village." We were elated because we all liked it the best as well. The Village has a home-like feel to it. Mom loves her apartment. The apartment was completely refurbished between the previous tenant departing and Mom moving in: walls freshly patched and painted, carpet replaced, flooring replaced, etc. It was like moving into a new apartment. The hallways provide ample places for Mom to safely walk without regard to the weather. There are grab bars that look like chair rails along the hallways, if needed. The dining room is spacious with lots of natural light. Mom enjoys sitting with her tablemates. Mom has enjoyed the varied activities offered, and then also enjoys retreating to her own personal space in her apartment. I cannot say enough good things about the staff! The first person we met (pre-scouting, before we even brought Mom for a tour) was Jordan at the desk. He welcomed us so warmly and answered many questions. All of the people we worked with were kind, well-informed and helped us through the process in every way that we needed. We felt as though Mom would adjust well here at the Village, and our hopes, and more importantly, Mom's hopes, have been realized. I would like to thank Jordan, Joyce, Jennifer, Kelly, Allyson, Maureen, Bart and Lynda for making our Mom's adjustment so smooth.

A year ago, after a medical emergency caused in part by my "adopted sister's" dementia and early stage Alzheimer's disease, we realized that she should not stay alone in her house. Medical professionals recommended that she be placed in a locked memory care facility. When we talked Joyce at The Village, however, she said that she would do just fine in assisted living, and that is where we placed her. One year later, she is thriving in assisted living, having made friends and not confining herself to her room. It was quite an adjustment for her, but the staff has been excellent in encouraging her participation in activities. And although she is getting a lot of individualized care, because of the way it is handled, she doesn't realize it, which gives her a feeling of independence. I highly recommend The Village at Buckland Court.
