BAPTIST HOMES OF ASHLAND

For a Christian organization, they do not treat the seniors living there with the respect they deserve. Increasing the cost of independent living by over 100% should be illegal. I wish my mother never had this horrible experience. You all should be ashamed of how you handled this.

The current residents living there the last several years have been given a notice that their rent is increasing. My elderly mother's rent is going from $1900 to $3,995 in Independent Living after being told for 5 years that she will have meals, activities, community gatherings, etc. The home did nothing, the residents are the ones who put anything together. Please know that there are more leaving than staying, for they have been betrayed and lied to all of the years. The home has no remorse about breaking up the bond that they have created, and it is absolutely heartbreaking. IF it was possible, the score I would give would be in the negative. Very unfortunate, because 5 years ago, it would have been the highest.

Nice, well maintained care facility for senior living. I accompanied my wife to a meeting in the new chapel building and it’s a beautiful addition to the campus.

What a great place, I will be moving when I get older..

While we did not tour the interior of the new construction of the Baptist Home community in Ashland, Missouri adjacent to the 1828 New Salem Baptist Church and Cemetery. The grounds around the Baptist Home, planned community are spacious and ample with more than adequate parking for residents and guests. The style and architecture of the housing units is very attractive, colorful and conducive to the space surrounding the overall area. Central to the development is a large house structure that serves as the Office for inquiries and tours of this special housing development. This is a place where retirees can live independently in a country setting.
