Barathaven really surprised me with fantastic associates, person centered care and an amazing community that has really raised the bar for quality. I've been to dozens of memory care communities near St. Louis. Most, by design, receive residents that have declined out of their independant living counterpart. They result in small, understaffed wings that barely meet state guidelines for care and safety. Barathaven is designed, from the ground up, as a memory care community. It has fantastic, loving staff, and hands on events that take each resident, at their own level, into beautiful moments of joy and self expression. This is the kind of excellence that others should follow, and definitely the level of care that I would want for my loved ones.

If you want an amazing memory care community that will not only take care and love your loved one but will also take care and love you I promise you this is the place. I have only been here for about a year and I can tell you I have seen the best care possible to the residents here and the employees! I know for a fact that all of the managers that work here spend every minute of every day putting in as much effort, time, and energy into making sure that these residents live an amazing happy life and are well taken care of! Jill, Dee, Spencer, Jen, Sheena, Scott, Dean, And Cierra are more then fantastic at their jobs and amazing human beings in general! They are such kind loving sweet people who do anything and everything to make sure you and your loved one is happy and healthy! I’ll miss not only seeing my fellow co workers but the residents and my resident family members that I have became close to! Barathaven is my second family and I hope you give them the chance to become part of your family too! Love you all!!!

My loved one was in another facility prior to Barathaven and there is NO comparison. Barathaven should be the standard against all others are measured. The environment is warm and comforting yet utility is above average with multiple activity rooms, quiet areas and common areas. Maintenance is 24/7 ensuring a clean and safe environment. My wife resides there, and I always find her well cared for, clean and attended to, any time day or night. I fully and completely trust her care to the team at Barathaven. I simply can't praise them enough.
