BARCLAY HOUSE OF AUGUSTA

My mom is loving it at Barclay House (formerly Benton House). It is such a relief to know she is being taken care of in such a safe and loving environment. The folks working there are friendly and never perfunctory or patronizing.

This place is a joke. The staff are unprofessional. Management doesn’t help at all. Avoid putting any loved ones here. They have so many falls that one has to wonder if it’s the residents falling or them being pushed or something. My family member was here and I took her out because of the incompetence of this place. These places need to be shut down completely. It’s time to hold them accountable. Having current employees and friends write reviews in your favor won’t change the quality of care here. Avoid at all costs.

As a provider in the area who regularly visits Barclay House, I have consistently been impressed by the level of care and professionalism displayed by the staff. Everyone is always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely engaged with the residents and families they serve. This is evident in the observed conversations and ongoing engagement between residents and staff. Each staff member treats each resident as if they are a part of their family. The Orchards and Grove staff especially deserve recognition for their compassion, patience, and dedication. They go above and beyond to ensure residents feel safe, respected, and supported while providing care with dignity and kindness. Each time I visit, the environment is clean and inviting, and the staff work together to create a positive atmosphere for everyone in the community. It feels like home each visit at Barclay House. I thank each of you for what you do❤️

I am a hospice nurse that visits Barclay House multiple times per week to see my patients. The staff is extremely friendly. The residents are well taken care of. There are so many activites going on, and I love seeing the residents engaged and laughing. I enjoy walking into the building and interacting with the staff and residents. I would highly recommend Barclay House if you are looking for an assisted living facility for yourself or a loved one. One of the best facilities in Augusta! I would highly recommend.

Barclayhouse is an excellent assisted living with professional staff in which provides excellent care for their residents! Also the director is phenomenal with a great attitude and welcoming presence!
