BERMAN COMMONS ASSISTED LIVING AND MEMORY CARE

My 90yr old mom is thriving at Berman Commons! Everyone from Executive Director, Lisa, Activities Director JJ, employee Mullah, her son Gabe whose part of the attentive wait staff (as well as everyone involved in activities, nursing, aids, dining, etc) has treated our Mom with highly personalized care, kindness, compassion, patience, and dignity. Unlike other communities we looked at, Berman Commons offers an abundance of weekly interactive activities and entertainment (visiting alpacas! all varieties of live music, curated birthday parties!) to keep her engaged and happy. Also, They are highly communicative with my sister and myself and are quick to address any questions and concerns. Fellow residents are absolutely lovely and mom has made wonderful friends, both single and couples. All in all, the superstar Berman Commons team has created a warm and welcoming community. Apartment is light and airy with high ceilings and a beautiful view. We, and most importantly, our mother, could NOT be more thrilled!

My experience has been wonderful. Berman is a very cozy facility with a wonderful activities staff providing lots of musical experiences and other activities. The leadership is exceptional, particularly from the Director, Lisa Minor, who is very present, involved, and attentive to both the residents and families. The care staff also provides good care. I would highly recommend Berman Commons.

We recently moved my Mother-in-Law (90) and her sister (98) into Berman Commons and we cannot express how much we appreciate the experience. It is stressful to make a move like this and the staff at Berman Commons made it so much less so. Lisa, Sam and their amazing team of staff and caregivers could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I find it remarkable that Lisa knows all the residents by name and watches over everything this a loving gaze.

Eskinder Beyene is a care taker who has become a treasured friend of the family. He looks out for my Father and all of the residents with great love and care. I am so grateful for him. Berman Commons has many great employees like this. It is a wonderful place!

My dad has been at Berman Commons for a year now and I couldn’t be happier with the care he’s receiving. The staff is kind attentive and truly treats him like family. The building is clean and welcoming, the food is great, and there are always activities to keep residents engaged. He’s made friends, enjoys the community, and most importantly, he feels at home.
