Cigarettes everywhere as soon as you walk in at door. So gross. Roaches all over the place. Some of the staff was rude. Not all of them. A very unclean place. Rarely checked on their guests. The GM was not nice to one of the guests and was rude to her staff. I heard her tell them off. I could not get a simple temperature check. No one on staff could check vitals. I will say the male cook/chef is absolutely amazing. Just rude and unclean.

My parents have been at Bethel for about 8 months and have really enjoyed it. Teria (GM) is always available if I ever have any questions or concerns and addresses them ASAP. When we realized it was time to move them to assisted living, it was a bit of an urgent situation. Teria met with us and was able to get us a room quickly so that both my parents would receive proper care. One thing that is very beneficial is that the care is all inclusive vs. a la carte. This was very important for my parents because their care needs have changed but we aren't being charged any additional fees. When I ask my mom if she is happy and she likes it there, she says she loves the staff and the other residents and feels that they are very well taken care of. She especially enjoys the food and fellowship at each meal.

The staff does a great job overall. I never hear 'that's not my job' like many other facilities. Teria, the GM, is very pleasant to work with. The rooms are generally cleaned well. The meals are very good overall and served at consistent times during the day. And they do their best to keep the residents engaged with activities.

Bethel Gardens is a great place to live. My wife and I have been here for almost a year and we are so glad we chose to be here. Staff is wonderful and our General manger is the best and is a big part of our wellbeing..... we love Bethel Gardens

I am currently experiencing multiple issues at this facility with a family member who is in the memory care unit. He does not get showers, his room is filthy, and his toenails have grown over his toes. While I have brought this to the attention of the staff, nothing has improved. With a memory care resident moving them is detrimental, to change their environment and cause severe decline, so I have been attempting to work with staff and the management. Unfortunately, issues are addressed for a day then neglected again. While I fully believe Sharon the current General Manager has a servants heart and cares for the residents she apparently has little staff who does their job and little or no support from the management so her ability to resolve issues seems to be limited. When addressing issues with the Management Company, Canopy Senior Living, Dennis the representative I deal with, again promises to make changes and address the issues but nothing happens that last more than a day. When we came here 5 years ago this was a wonderful facility, the management made certain all residents were well cared for, and the facility was clean and well maintained. Since new management took over in 2020 this place has declined considerably and is bordering on neglect. My family member looks homeless most of the time, clothes are disheveled and dirty, his hair is dirty and never brushed, he is NEVER shaven, and his room is never clean. If you have other options, DO NOT use this facility at this time. If I see improvement, I will be happy to update this review, at this time, this facility is not a good choice for your family member.
