BETHESDA HAWTHORNE PLACE

My mom lives there. Leaving her house was extremely hard for her, as it is most. Most all of her staff have been great and there are a special few who really have made my mom feel better in most every way. I am an ex caregiver so I know about some of the layers it takes to provide good service within business systems. The front receptionist staff are fantastic, too. I visit a lot so I see them, and all kinds of staff, working hard to make it nice. My mom is safe there and I feel good about her there. Bethesda has a strong reputation in St. Louis. That also helped my whole family as we transitioned Mom there. I appreciate that place, especially the direct staff. Its a tough job. Please budget great pay for them. The stand outs are truly amazing.

OMG... My mother-in-law lived at Hawthorne Place Assisted Living apartments for over 2 years. It was wonderful. The apt was comfortable and decent size. We were lucky enough to be able to wait for a patio apt to become available, which for our 'Oma/Mom' made all the difference for her as she was a big time nature lover. The gardening is gorgeous. The STAFF IS AMAZING from Lisa in the front office to CNAs to nurses and house cleaning. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH NICE THINGS! They worked so hard to ensure that 'Mom' was not only well cared for, but loved!! And when the end came near, they so kindly worked with us during Mom's short time in hospice, we were able to keep her in her home until she passed. We will be FOREVER grateful to everyone at HP. We all actually MISS seeing everyone regularly, including other residents. They became friends. :-)

Extremely impressed with Staff and Facility! We are looking for place for our mother and visited 6 options in 2 days. We met with LeighAnn and she is the most caring and knowledgeable person we encountered during our search of multiple options. It was obvious LeighAnn cares about the residents in thier care and assessing the needs of each individual. All the staff we encountered were genuinely friendly and residents were engaged and happy. I would definitely feel comfortable having LeighAnn and her team take care of my mother.

My mother was in memory care at Hawthorne Place for a little over three years. The staff was wonderful, very professional and caring. The facility feels serene and is always clean and well-maintained. I am grateful that I found this place where I felt she was safe and well-care for in her final years.

My mother has been a resident here for almost a year and I have to say I am very impressed with the care my mother has received. The staff is very caring, professional, and I can tell they truly care about the residents. Lea Ann was great to deal with when moving my mother to Hawthorne. She was very organized, answered all of my questions, and would always get back to me via phone or email. I have dealt with Lisa, the director, several times and each time has been such a pleasant experience. She manages the facility well and it is reflected in the care the residents receive. I am so thankful my mother is in such a fantastic community.
