The care and staff at Betty’s Garden are a 5 star but their billing system is 1 star. We had an automatic monthly payment set up for my moms care and after died. I called and asked to stop the automatic payment and I was told I had to stop it on their website. However their website won’t allow you to stop the auto payment so I called back and told the billing person and she said she would tell the home office and have it stopped. Well the next month came and another payment came out of our bank. Again I talk with the billing person at BG and was told that they would have it refunded and the payment would not happen again. Well the next month comes and not only have we not gotten the refund but they also took another monthly payment. Again I call and get the same response and was told that upper management is aware and it all will be refunded asap. That has been 3 weeks ago and still no refund. So they have taken 2 months worth of payments from the bank account of a dead person who is no longer a client. This seems illegal! And I have asked to talk with upper management and keep being told that they don’t talk with anyone but the employees. I have called the headquarters and no one answers - very disappointing and frustrating!

Betty’s Garden is a wonderful, safe place for loved ones. Peace of mind is essential when someone you love needs care that you cannot give personally. The care provided by amazing staff members is personalized to each resident. My visits are random due to having 3 jobs with varying schedules, but it doesn’t matter if I visit early morning, midday, or evenings - my loved one is happy and stress free.

Excited to give 5 stars to this facility -our mom has been a resident the past 3 years. There have been many positive changes that have occurred with leadership changes this past year - new director, new nurse (arranged for mom’s return to the facility post hip fracture with ease), a pleasant greeting from the time you enter the building - the staff is good about coordinating phone calls for out of state relatives to stay connected - and a lot more smiles welcome us☺️. Our mom is on the south side - great caring staff - 👍🏻 to Amy who is so caring and interactive with patients and offers great continuity of care - 👍🏻to Beth who routinely makes rounds and cares for patients - 👍🏻 to Diane who wears many hats around the facility and is always caring and concerned about the residents. In close, we want to include the rest of the staff that is involved in mom’s care- we are now comfortable to leave mom’s care in caring hands☺️thank you - Diane, Dan, and Denise

Over the last 3 years Ivisited my sister frequently. We could not have asked for a better environment. Professional and support staff alike hold as a central value the care and comfort of the tenants. I have visited at times all throughout the day with the same experience - am empathetic, caring staff. The environment is always clean and neat. The unit is arranged so tenants and visitors have comfortable areas in which to visit. Tenant rooms are well equipped, accessible, comfortable, and well maintained. My sister enjoyed meal and snack times. She thoroughly enjoyed recreation events, in particular Karaoke nights 🎶👏🏼 I recommend Betty’s Garden without reservation.

This has been the best decision for a home for my mom. Alzheimer’s is a terrible disease and the staff from maintenance, to cooks, to all of the wonderful floor personnel have been amazing! Their patience and dedication have given me such piece of mind. I couldn’t recommend Betty’s Garden more highly!
