Bickford - Peoria II Cottage

I have discovered that most memory care facilities do not want to implement memory care to individuals with dementia. My spouse was discharged from two such facilities because of behavior issues (common with dementia). He was also declined residency at another because he is a fall risk (also common with dementia). Bickford Memory Care of Peoria willingly accepted my spouse and has cared for him with kindness for 1 1/2 years. They are proven in long term, lifelong care and work hard to recruit and maintain a professional and caring staff. Are there problems at Bickford? Yes but nothing they are not working to resolve. Working hard to improve along with care and cleanliness are worth a lot.

Jori was a delight to speak with and was very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Bickford looks as amazing as the pictures online, very clean and all staff were friendly.
