BIRCHES AT VILLA RICA, THE

My mom lived in the Assisted Living portion of the Birches at Villa Rica for three years. We were pleased with the overall care she was given. She made lots for friends there and they enjoyed each other's time doing all sorts of activities. Rita Miller and her staff were good to communicate with us on a timely basis, especially when there were out of the ordinary incidents during the night. She particularly enjoyed their worship services and the various singers that came. The cost is reasonable and the accommodations are visually appealing and clean. I would recommend the Birches at Villa Rica to anyone whose loved ones are in need of Assisted Living - or who might want to go there themselves!

My sincere gratitude to Rita, Stacey, and staff for the care and attention shown to my mother, Barbara Mansfield. Mom was a resident at the Birches for close to 2 1/2 yrs and felt as if everyone there was a part of her family; she loved them all. She truly blossomed during her time there. I am a Hospice nurse with patients at The Birches. I am very well aware that in my line of work most people are quick to criticize. I'd like to take a moment to say thank you to the staff in the memory care unit. This is an extremely hard unit to work in full time. You must have a heart and a devotion to make life better for our residents in memory care. The staff that worked day shift today, 9/11/24, (Wednesday) go above and beyond every time they are working. From curling hair, to walking residents outside, or just sitting quietly and listening. So shout out to Zoe, Emily, Lydia, and the young lady with the curling iron skills! Keep up the great work! You do make a difference! It's an honor to work with everyone of y'all!

Visited The Birches today and I was amazed by the caring compassionate staff. The place is truly like a community and a home away from home for the residents. It is orderly and super clean. The “It’s Never Too Late” program for the seniors is amazing and the residents were happy and engaged while we were there.

Our dad lived in Memory Care at The Birches for ten and a half months before his passing. Our family could not be more pleased with the loving care he received. The staff is so respectful and caring with their residents who suffer with dementia. They keep them engaged and make sure they spend as much time as possible with others, participating in activities that keep their minds and bodies active. The staff also worked closely with our dad’s Tanner physician to be sure his treatment met his needs. When the time came for our dad to receive hospice care, the Birches staff worked seamlessly alongside the hospice care team, making sure he received everything he needed for a peaceful, comfortable transition. The support our family felt was far beyond anything we could have hoped for. What a blessing to have this facility in our community. Rita and her staff run a very tight ship, coupled with true affection for their residents. Thank you so much for making our dad’s last 10 months as good as they possibly could have been!
