Birches, LLC (The)

My relative has been living at Birches for the last 6 months and the experience has been nothing short of fantastic. Yes, It’s a beautiful building, but the most important thing is that the staff is awesome. They are very welcoming and attentive to the needs of the residence. It’s truly a thriving community. This goes for every department on staff. Including reception, administration, housekeeping, the Executive Director (Jennifer), caregivers, dining/kitchen staff, and last but certainly the in-house nursing staff. In fact the in-house nursing staff deserves a special shout out because Tina, the Director of Nursing, is incredible. She has also assembled a nursing staff (Victoria, Gouldy, Patience and Matamua - sorry for any misspelled names!) that are kind, compassionate, caring and professional. I can not say enough about how much this means to me and my family. Birches also has an excellent in-house physician (Dr. Nazimuddin) that can serve as a primary care physician for residents. There is also in-house PT & OT with Legacy Health (Valdus and Alley) who are also phenomenal. They work closely with the Birches in-house nursing and care staff which results in excellent coordination of care Although Birches is not a skilled nursing facility (nursing home), they can help provide oversight, and guidance for the preventative care and overall quality of life for their residents. Ultimately, giving the residents better odds of avoiding hospital stays and ending up in skilled nursing facilities. Unfortunately, I live out of state. As her healthcare power of attorney and advocate I have to make sure she is getting everything she needs to live her best life. That is hard to do even when your relative is local, but especially challenging when you can't be there on a daily or weekly basis. I have complete faith and trust that the Birches staff are doing everything they can for my relativel Plus thay proactively keep me in the loop about what’s going on with her. I could not ask for better peace of mind and am confident in the trust I have for BIrches and their wonderful staff. One last thing. The food at Birches is very good. The dining room has the feel of a nice restaurant, and it’s run like one. It is nothing like an institutional cafeteria that at other senior living communities. Overall, you would be hard pressed to find a community that is better than Birches. I highly recommend people take a tour to see it for themselves. It does not disappoint..

My Uncle was at The Birches for a couple of months this past summer. We never had a worry, we always knew he was in good, caring hands. Facility is immaculate, staff is helpful, friendly, and they were always happy to help or answer questions.

The Birches is a very family oriented organization. The staff is competent & compassionate, helping your loved one feel cared for and welcomed. They are accommodating & work well with families to provide outstanding care & a comfortable living environment for the residents. Having a broad range of experience with similar facilities, we have found The Birches to be one of the best options out there for assisted living.

I’m beyond grateful for the people at The Birches Assisted Living! The team members who work with my parents are caring, compassionate & always willing to go to extra lengths to ensure their safety, comfort & well being. I have great peace of mind knowing my parents are being well cared for by such dedicated staff members.💜

My mother recently moved her from another facility. The care and concern that has been shown to her and our family has been exceptional. The move in process, even in the midst of Covid, was made easy. I am continually impressed by how kind and caring all the members of the team are. They genuinely seem to like their jobs--which was not the experience that we had previously. The communication with staff is excellent. Any concern or question I have had has been answered quickly and professionally. The nursing care is thorough and the activities planned are innovative and engaging. My mom has been there two months and so far it has been a great move!
